#1 Pick - Which Qbs Would You Trade The Pick?

#1

If we get the #1 pick in the 2014 draft, which QBs in the NFL (in order of preference) would you trade the #1 pick straight up.   Then contracts and age factors need to be taken into consideration.

1, Rogers

2. Luck

3. Kaepernick

4. Matt Ryan

5. Russell Wilson

-----

Still deciding: Cam Newton(?), RG III (history of injuries dating back to college)

Still waivering on Flacco, E. Manning, Roethlisberger, Rivers -- all came out and are ~ 31 yrs old

Ruled out due to Age: P Manning, Brady, Brees.

I still can't figure out: Romo, Cutler, Stafford

Decent but I would not trade the pick: Tanneyhill, Dalton

Kaepernick, Luck, Wilson, and Griffin haven't been in the league long enough for me to say "absolutely yes".  Newton, no.

Probably the only one that I would absolutely trade for without question is Rogers.

Also, shouldn't this one be in the NFL thread?  I understand that we're talking about trading the Jags #1 pick, but we're referencing players from other teams.

Rogers and it's not close.

None- you keep the pick and take Bridgewater and hope he's your franchise QB for the next 15 years.

The problem with trading for Rodgers is that he's taken a huge amount of punishment and you don't know how many more years of high-level production you would still get.

Not that the Packers woud trade him anyway..

None, get your own franchise QB with the number one pick.

To be honest. I would take any of them, preferably a younger one. But I believe we would be stupid if we didn't. We claim to getting our own franchise quarterback. But do we forget at how hard that is to find?? I mean look at some of the teams in the NFL and how many times it took them to find their franchise QB. If given the opportunity to have Matt Ryan with our #1 pick. I would take it and run with it.

Rodgers and Luck. Maybe Wilson. That's it.
