I need some help with better detailed info, then whats been told.  the way it was announced earlier this year you can only watch nfl games on youtube now if you sign up for it, and nfl ticket isn't on direct tv anymore. 

I have seen in other places though that restruants such as sports bars will still be able to show games though nfl sunday ticket.  if anyone can provide better detail please do so. I'm hopeign dad,and i can still go watch games at sports bar.

Did you ask your local watering hole if they are going to continue broadcasting all games? They would know their setup better than a buncha maroons on a message board that aren't near north cackalacky.

If the sports bar you go to decides to buy Sunday Ticket through YouTube TV - then they will still carry it. 
You need to ask the manager of the bar if they plan to purchase that (since they cannot get it from DirectTV anymore)

For those who are wondering about their watering hole keeping Sunday Ticket despite the switch, I am being told by the guy who manages the video at the bar/venue I work for that Youtube, Direct TV and Everpass Media are working out  a deal that will allow commercial entities to air the YouTube version of Sunday Ticket through their existing Direct TV installation. 

For instance - we have 28 screens at our place of business, all connected to Direct TV satellite, but few connected to internet/streaming. 
In order to prevent us having to reconfigure 20 screens, the two companies are working a deal that will apparently send the YouTube NFL streams to satellite channels - or some such practical solution. 

This info was passed to me from a guy who installs and manages screens and video walls in about 30 restaurants and bars around SWFL.

The most basic answer is: Yes, the local sports bars can still show the games.

The more nuanced answer is: It depends on if the owner/manager of that bar wants to offer the Youtube version of the service.

I would suspect the vast majority of sports bars/places that make a point to advertise they've shown the games in the past will continue to do so.

That's probably the best option unless they already have the setup needed to mirror a few internet streams and ensure the quality is HD.

Not sure how much or who is charging them now but previously they paid by venue size and it wasn't cheap unless they showed it illegally and only small bars who didn't advertise could get away with that.

I'm sure the restaurants don't want new expenses for internet and hardware to upgrade the existing setup that works.

Pretty sure we paid around 6K per season prior to this switch. 
Not sure what it will be now. 

The bump in business for the 1pm games on Sundays does cover it though.

The commercial contract is separate. Found this article saying DTV is keeping the rights so nothing will change. Most likely any place that previously showed the games will continue to show them.
