Wasn't a money thing, he said he was basically tired of just sitting around doing nothing. Learning a trade would give him something to do and its never a bad idea to learn a trade. There's an article from a few weeks back where he talks more about it and other stuff.

I remember when he was drafted his knee kept coming up. I specifically remember someone saying he would need surgery in 7 years. They hit that number right on the head.

Myles Jack is ranked 9th in team history for solo tackles with 335 and he is ranked 2nd all time in team history with 178 assisted tackles, behind Paul Posluszny.

Jack is also 1 of 24 Jaguars to score a defensive touchdown.

On the contrary, if he has any money in pocket he would have the liberty to tell that hemorrhoid of a customer to just pound sand rather than back and forthing with them over unattainable demands. That's true freedom.

I get that some folks just can't be idle and live off passive wealth. I might not do what I do if I ever happened upon a winning lotto ticket, but I certainly wouldn't spend the rest of my days on a recliner.

I liked Jack ... But im not sure we ever entirely saw the best of him. Some of that might have been Myles, but a decent portion of it always felt like we didn't get the best out of him ... He quite often felt to me like the right man on the wrong team, in the wrong position, with the wrong coaches ... A touch of the what might have been!

Seemed at face value a very likeable guy so I hope he's managed his money well and enjoys whatever he turns his hand to in life and all the best!
