I can see London, Williams, Olave, Wilson, Dotson and Burks in round 1, but there is a huge dropoff after those guys and a significant dropoff between Dotson and Burks, IMO. Who would be the 7th receiver?

Maybe Christian Watson? Chris Simms has him as the #2 WR in the draft

IMO, that would be a huge reach for a small school WR with drop issues.

As you said it sounds like London, Williams, Olave, Wilson, and Burks are locks. I think 2 more of Dotson, Watson, Skyy, and Pickens also go. Maybe 3 of them.

I think Dotson is a lock. Watson would be a real reach. He's a project. Skyy Moore is the closest thing to a first rounder of the tier 2 group of WR's and even he's a reach for round 1 and I wouldn't even draft Pickens in round 5.

Heard someone mention Skyy Moore to Buffalo to take over for Beasley.

They already extended McKenzie to replace Beasley. I think it could be the Chiefs though they have the need, two late 1sts, and Skyy is a good fit.

I don't believe I am saying this and I know it will come back to haunt me later on this board....

Jawaan Taylor will finally do more than just enough to keep his job and play pretty well in 2022. Factors? Contract year, better coaching, a head boach who doesn't see himself as Czar of the football team. We might get a little bump with others as well..
A new broom always sweeps clean.

I finally got to watch some Jelani, and I gotta say it's gonna be a mistake if someone drafts him in the 2nd round.

I get that he may be the freakiest athlete of all time at the TE position, but he is still so raw and he does not use his athleticism on the field...yet. You can very much tell that he didn't play TE until college, and then was a blocking only TE for the first 3 years at OK State before transferring to Virginia and finally getting a chance to catch some balls. I think he is still having to think a lot when he is running his routes, and he is not playing naturally.

Whoever takes him shouldn't be expecting anything more than a functional blocker for probably 2 years and then maybe a couple more before he can really be an impact two way TE. I think he will be the classic TE who breaks out on his second contract for his second team.

Evan Neal Falls to round 2 out of nowhere, similar to Cam Robinson the year we took him

0% chance of that happening.

while this is certainly bold, I'd jump all over that pick if he were available to us at 33.

While I think there’s no chance Neal falls to round 2 as well, just remember there was lot of people on this bored and draft experts saying jags should take jawaan Taylor at 7 that year, while ultimately I think the pick would of been hockenson had Allan not fallen there was a lot of people justifying taking a right tackle in the top 10

Those people were idiots. Had Allen been off the board when we picked, I truly believe we were all in on Hockenson. At least I was, but when Allen fell, he had to be the pick. Allen was my #1 overall player in that draft. That draft had as bad an OT class as this draft has. I didn't really like any of them, especially Taylor and Greg Little. I was praying DT Jerry Tillery would fall to us in round 2 or we would trade up to get him, but that didn't happen. I know we needed an OT, but no OT in that draft was worth taking in round 2. Remember, there were questions coming into that draft about Taylor's knees and although his knees have done o.k., I believe they are a contributing factor why he is so slow getting out of his stance and why he's constantly getting beat. Taking Taylor in round 2 was a perfect example of this team drafting need over BAP.

Jaguars don't draft a WR in the first 3 rounds.

First 3?!

Mercy. I can see first 2 depending on who’s available but no WRs with their first 4 picks would be crazy

It just seems like the Jaguar thing to do.

It seems unlikely, but I could see it happening.  We have a lot of holes.

I could see it happening too, but less because we have so many other holes to fill and more because WRs are going to be flying off the board. I think they'll be going so early and so often that it's almost a guarantee that WR will never be in the top BAP tier when we pick.

I definitely think we may make a reach and get one anyway, but I won't be shocked if they stick to BAP and roll into the season with Kirk, Marvin, and Zay.
