Naturally, they have Mahomes. I am sure they'll make adjustments and they'll eventually get Kelce back on offense and Jones on defense.

They did at least show though that Mahomes can be effected if you can get around him enough and his WR's have stonehands. We'll see soon enough for ourselves in week two. Having the opportunity to play them, the Bills and Bengals in the regular season are awesome. It's an early indicator at the minimum.

Right. my only concern is I don't like playing them after a tough loss like that. They're going to be hungry and desperate to not fall to 0-2. And Kelce is going to be rehabbing like a mad man to come back. I think it's safe to say Jones won't be playing.

Need to use that to our advantage. Fake blitzes on defense, screen plays on offense, trick plays on special teams.

I don't disagree. The Jags certainly can beat them but can you do it in December/January?

The Chiefs beat themselves with a dropped pass that led to a pick 6, another drop that would have led to a 30 yard completion and in FG range to win the game and many more timely drops.

They have been to 5 straight AFC title games and 3 of the last 5 Super Bowls for a reason. They are the best of the best with the best QB.

The Jags need to have a really consistent pass rush, run the ball effectively and not make mistakes (turnovers) on offense.

For sure. But at least, without Kelce, they looked vulnerable. Mahomes as usual was dropping perfect passes all game and they were just flat out dropped. (Reminds me of some of Trevor's passes last year) I'm definitely not sleeping on KC. They'll be improved next week and we are going to have to play extremely well to beat them. We need Walker to pressure like Hutch did, hopefully Caldwell will take advantage of rushing him from the inside like Det did last night.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

I'm not worried about winning or losing to the chefs in week two.
I'll save that for the post season.

They are beatable even with Kelce and Jones.

It's just going to be a shoot out and roster health will be a factor, but right now the AFC has a cold-war-style arms race going on and the Jags have an impressive arsenal of nuclear missiles.

Their oline was dominant for the most part outside of Taylor
