Yeah. Surprised we haven't tried bringing anybody in. At least, nothing has been reported that I know of. I think Ingram and Houston are still out there. So is Clark.

It’s going to hurt if there still isn’t any pass rush early in the season. Those who don’t learn from the past.

Why? We gonna win 42-35 shootouts all year.

Dude never had it after his Achilles. Really sad because he was very good before that.

I definitely agree he’s not the same but he had some big runs early in the season. He could be a decent change of pace back now but he can’t be a workhorse like 2020

Yup a true shame. I will continue to root for my boy J Rob.

Great kid who followed the traditional career path for running backs and a case study on why you don't spend high draft capital on that position.

I wonder if he will be picked up by someone, or is it time to retire?

Clearly not healthy.

I wonder if it's the knee that they had to drain repeatedly before he was traded.

What a drag. Very talented back despite the lack of speed. Would be a shame if injuries kept him from getting another chance to earn some money playing football.

If you put JRob's vision and feel for the game on Fat Lenny you'd have the best RB of the era.

Nice highlights in here. Forgot how good he was. He never had top end speed but his vision and burst made up for it with his balance and strength. My favorite run was towards the end against the tacks where he broke through a tackle with one leg and then scampered downfield along the sideline. Even before he was traded last year he was still showing some signs of hope and clear recovery. Not sure what went wrong but I hope he finds himself somewhere at some point this season.

Speaking of...Fat Lenny is available. We should not sign him.

Disagree. They should sign him, Cooks and J-Rob. Trade Etienne to Arizona because [BLEEP] it, why not.

JRob had no guaranteed money in that deal with the pats. Something is clearly physically wrong and the Jets and Pats found out what the Jags already knew apparently. You have to wonder if it's not the Achilles, but the knee instead since we saw him run and get a couple of long ones early last year and then we heard about the knee issue right before he was traded. Tough situation for him. Not only is he struggling to catch on somewhere, but his girlfriend probably isn't getting local grocery store radio ad gigs anymore either.

This doesn't apply to JRob's situation so much, but they need to fix the RB pay issue somehow. Maybe they can treat them differently during the draft. Instead of a 4 year contract and 1 year option for 1st rounders, maybe make it a 3 year contract with 1 year option for just RBs taken in the first. Or make the position non-tagable and with no 5th year option available. Allow them to potentially get to free agency or their 2nd contract BEFORE they reach the cliff age for the vast majority of RBs of 27. They generally have very little meat left on the bone by the time they get to negotiate for their 2nd deal which should be their 1 big bite at the apple. Since it affects so few players in the league, it will be challenging to get the players union on board to push such an idea at the next CBA. Also, making RBs non-tagable means other positions have a slightly higher chance of being the one tagged in a given year which the other players are not going to like. Regardless, the current state of affairs with player contracts is particularly unfair to RBs.
