RD1 - Graham Barton - OT - Duke
RD2 - Sedrick Van Pran - C - Georgia RD3 - Tory Horton - WR - Colorado St. RD3 - Tyler Davis - DT - Clemson RD4 - Javion Cohen - G - Miami RD4 - James Williams - S - Miami RD5 - Jack Nelson - OT - Wisconsin RD6 - Jordan Jefferson - DT - LSU RD6 - De'Corian Clark - WR - UTSA RD7 - Richard Jibunor - EDGE - Troy Used NFL Draft Buzz. Barton pushes Little to bench and Nelson can play guard and tackle. Van Pran pushes Fortner to bench. Cohen is good depth with ability to support Cleveland or push Little and Scherff as a guard. Davis and Jefferson add depth and pass rushing presence to the interior on defense. Horton and Clark offer versatility to the receiving group. Williams is a lengthy safety with range. Jibunor is a tweener but an edge rushing specialist to add depth. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? Used Pro Football Focus, not sure if they're completely up to date or not. Traded down in this one though with the Eagles. Swapped 23 for picks 28 and 59.
28th pick used on OG - Troy Fautanu out of Washington 54th pick used on C - Sedrick Van Pran out of Georgia 59th pick used on DT - Bryon Murphy II out of Texas 88th pick used on DT - Braden Fiske out of Florida State 109th pick used on EDGE - Jonah Elliss out of Utah 150th pick used on WR - Ainias Smith out of Texas A&M 184th pick used on OT - Jonah Monheim out of USC 215th pick used on EDGE - Kaimon Rucker out of North Carolina "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I, who was born in a naked land and bred in the open sky. The subtle tongue, the sophist guile, they fail when the broadswords sing; Rush in and die, dogs - I was a man before I was a king."
Fanspeak mock draft today:
Rd. 1 (22) : Taliese Fuaga Rd. 2 (54) : Xavier Leggett Rd. 3 (96): Zach Frazier Rd. 4 (111): Christian Mahogany Rd. 4 (122) McKinley Jackson Rd. 5 (158) Gabriel Murphy Only did 5 rounds for my first effort this year. Obviously, the priority was to get interior linemen. Fuaga and Mahogany are both run-blocking maulers who could become immediate starters at right and left guard. Fuaga moves inside after playing right tackle at a high level in the Pac-12. Frazier should be much stronger than Luke Fortner at center where his college wrestling success will enable him to handle nose tackles like Vita Vea. Very pleased to get Leggett in round 2 as a replacement for Ridley, who has not earned the big contract he'll likely be demanding in 2024. Jackson is a rotational nose tackle who can also penetrate and Murphy replaces Chaisson at edge rusher.

Depending on how the draft falls we might have to take a look at Brian Thomas Jr to give Trevor the true number 1 big and fast WR. Thomas can win those 50/50 balls. Something we have been lacking forever. Prime A Rob could win 50/50 balls but he didnt have the speed like Thomas. Nabers would be a great get as well but he likley goes in the top 10. Rodunze as well

It's the same thing I am trying to do give or take. Grab a receiver some where early while trying to fill in massive voids on both sides of the line of scrimmage. Frazier with his wrestling background gives me Linderbaum Jr. vibes. Which is a positive statement coming from me. I wouldn't mind him on this team. Leggett in RD2 feels like a steal to me. I see him in RD1 quite a bit in most mocks lately. I think his combine and pro day will make or break him for the most part. "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? There's a day three prospect I liked that's a bit of an Engram hybrid type but has WR qualities more than TE qualities. He's going back to school but he's somebody I would like to see in Jacksonville in 2025 for sure. Oronde Gadsen Jr. From Syracuse. Son of Oronde Gadsen. Former NFL receiver for the Dolphins. Unfortunately, Gadsen Jr. had a Lisfranc injury occur earlier this year for the Orange. He had a really good 2022 season doing things at WR and TE. Hopefully he rebounds well in 2024 because I think he's a unique prospect to be had down the road. I really like North Carolina's Devontez Walker as well as a potential day three option. Had a good year at Kent State in 2022 and had a decent, respectable season this year with the Tarheels. Good size at 6'3. More of a downfield runner with good ball tracking ability. Could be a sleeper. Can say the same about USC's Brenden Rice as well. He may not be as good as his dad, Jerry Rice. But, again, he's listed at 6'3, 210 and has had a good year with Caleb Williams. Found the endzone quite a bit. I think he's a day three option as well. "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I, who was born in a naked land and bred in the open sky. The 2024 group is so deep that a very good receiver should be available for the Jaguars in round 2. If not Leggett, someone like Adonai Mitchell, Xavier Worthy, Jermaine Burton or Troy Franklin will fall to the Jaguars. As much as I wanted Powers-Johnson in round 2, I just couldn't pass on Leggett and was fortunate to still get Frazier in round 3.

Im not taking a WR in the first few rounds unless its a true number 1 WR, and there are a few in this draft. Much better WR class than last year We show less advertisements to registered users. Went with Sportskeeda this time:
22. Jer'Zhan Newton - DT - Illinois 53. Jackson Powers-Johnson - C - Oregon 84. Kris Jenkins - DT - Michigan 110. Joshua Gray - OG - Oregon State 151. Tyler Davis - DT - Clemson 182. Brenden Rice - WR - USC 213. Kaimon Rucker - EDGE - North Carolina "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I, who was born in a naked land and bred in the open sky. First mock of 2024 on Fanspeak:
1 (22) Rome Odunze 2(54) Troy Fautanu 3(96) Sedrick Van Pran 4(113) Jack Nelson 4(122) Darius Robinson 5(158) Frank Gore Jr. Couldn't believe Odunze, Fautanu and Van Pran were still on the board when I got them. Odunze would more than make up for the loss of Ridley and cost much less with half the risk! Had to take Frank Gore Jr. as a "thank you" to his father! Can just imagine the Super Bowl celebration on February 9, 2025 when Trevor is embraced by the two Gores. Everything comes full circle.

We would have to trade up if we want one of those guys (01-03-2024, 02:17 PM)jaglou53 Wrote:Top 10 will likely have(01-03-2024, 01:14 PM)Cleatwood Wrote: No chance at all Rome will be there in right life.Totally agree. So many dudes who are just flat out beasts.
One shiny receiver, four OL, 3 DL thanks

I really like this mock and pick, arguably the best run blocker in the draft. We can put him at RT and move Harrison to LT if we trade Cam or we can just plug him in at RG if we cut Scherff.

Some will be pounding the table for a receiver like Coleman in this scenario, but the O-Line must be addressed in round 1, free agency and with another draft pick later on. The team may not be able to keep Ridley, but the line is top priority. I don't agree with Boselli about a lot of things, but his belief that winning teams build from the inside-out makes total sense. |
