The Duval Pride team is pleased to afford you the opportunity to express your views about the Jaguars and football in general within these forums. Your participation in the forums is governed by the rules set forth on this page. Please take a minute to review these rules before you begin posting. By default, you agree to abide by these rules when you register here.

While the code of conduct covers most common situations, we reserve the right to take any action we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused and continue to facilitate discussion amongst members.

The Duval Pride team reserve the right to change these rules at any point in time.

Although users are allowed to pick their usernames, unsuitable usernames will be rejected by board administrators and they will immediately delete your account. Impersonating other posters or other individuals will result in the termination of your account.

Please remember that we are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this bulletin board to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law.

The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of the Duval Pride team. The administrators and moderators of this forum have the right, but not the obligation, to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible.  It is impossible to review every message. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to report the content to the moderators using the report functionality in the forum immediately. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary.

Please do not attempt to avoid the profanity filters. Veiled profanity is unacceptable. For example, please do not type around the filter by using dollar signs for an S or any similar method.  If it is easy enough to decipher what the word is, it will draw a warning, so please use caution in how you post.

Please refrain from posting meaningless threads. Very short (one-word) or nonsense posts do not add value to the topic. For example, only the words, "I dunno," or "lol cool," is considered spam, and could result in a warning/suspensioni if this is persistent behavior. Please put some thought into your contribution to the discussion.

Use of this board is a privilege and not a right.

You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit.

Off topic threads and posts will be deleted.

Signatures will be limited to 300 characters - and/or an image that is no larger than 500x200 pixels.  See the pinned thread in the Board Feedback sub-forum for answers to any questions that you might have.

Religious and/or political discussions, avatars, and signatures are not allowed on this message board.  Any violation of this rule will result in the avatar/signature being removed and the member issued a warning.

No commercially, religious or politically motivated messages, such as advertisements or links to commercial websites are allowed in messages or user signatures with the exception of material in the appropriate sub-forum. It is okay to put links in your messages if these are informative and directly relevant to a discussion.

Spamming the board will not be tolerated.

Trolling, much like spamming the board will not be tolerated.  If a user's behavior is determined to be trolling in nature, posting privileges can be suspended.

Multiple accounts by an individual are not allowed.

What does this Copyright section mean in plain English?

We want to be sure all posters respect the copyrights of third parties. We are also safeguarding ourselves against people who want to sue DuvalPride.com when a poster copies/pastes copyright protected material on the DuvalPride.com web site or message board. We do this by requiring the poster to grant us the right to use the material, and guaranty to us that he has the right to grant such rights and is not using materials owned or copyrighted by someone else. DuvalPride.com does not own anything a poster posts on the message boards, and therefore does not claim to own what a poster posts on one of the message boards.

Board Policy on Warnings, Suspensions and Banishment

A member who breaks the rules outlined above may receive a warning from board moderators or administrators.  If a member believes their warning was unjustified, they may appeal their warning to the administration team.
 
Warnings will have suspension penalties associated with them as follows:

• Warning #1: no suspension
  
• Warning #2: 48 hour suspension
  
• Warning #3: one week suspension
  
• Warning #4: one month suspension
  
• Warning #5: indefinite suspension.
  

Every six months that a member has not received a new warning, they will have their warning level decreased automatically by one.

At the time that a suspended member's warning level is decreased from five (100%) to four (80%), suspended members must appeal their suspension to the DuvalPride.com administrators. Board administrators will review the suspension, basing their decision on many factors including the member's history and the severity of the member's warned offenses.  Reinstatement of members is at the sole discretion of board administrators and any decisions are final.

Irrespective of the above, any member who accumulates a total of 10 warnings after January 1, 2022 will receive an indefinite suspension.

Exceptions to the above:
    
    If you have been previously banned and have returned under a different username you will be permanently banned without warning.
    Posting of any pornographic material is grounds for an immediate permanent ban.
    Abusive or threatening behavior will not be tolerated, and is grounds for an immediate permanent ban.

Moderators/Administrators

The moderators and admins on this forum are volunteers and therefore cannot be expected to be online 24 hours a day. If you feel a post is offensive and/or violates this CoC, please report it to the moderators by using the report button or by sending a PM to the moderators. One of the moderators will then resolve the issue as soon as possible.  Your assistance in monitoring this board will make it a more enjoyable posting experience for all in the long run.
