*The Best Draft Pick By Round:

Best 7th rounder - DE Bobby McCray: 22 sacks in 4 seasons and played on 2 playoff teams.

Best 6th rounder - QB Gardner Minshew: started 20 games at QB and won 7. Minshew threw 37 TD passes in a Jaguars uniform. Dude made the Pro Bowl last season with Indy.

Best 5th rounder -LB Telvin Smith: played 5 seasons and was quickly named a team captain. Made a Pro Bowl. 587 combined tackles, 52 TFL, 7.5 Sacks, 9 int, 6 FR, 5 FF, and is tied with Aaron Beasley for the most returned touchdowns in team history.

Best 4th rounder - David Garrard: Finished with 106 total touchdowns, with 89 passing and 17 rushing. The 17 rushing TD still stands today as the franchise record for a QB. Made a Pro Bowl. Took the 2007 Jaguars to the playoffs and should’ve been the starter in the 2005 playoffs.

Best 3rd rounder - Yannick Ngakoue: played 4 seasons and finished with 37.5 sacks, 42 TFL 2 int and never registered less than 8 sacks in his 9 year career except last year where he posted 4 sacks with Chicago. Best 2nd rounder - Maurice Jones-Drew: Made 3 Pro Bowls and 1 All Pro. 2nd leading rusher in franchise history behind Fred Taylor. Jones-Drew is still the team’s all-time leader in touchdowns with 81. He finished his Jaguars career with 8,071 yards rushing, 2,873 yards receiving and 2,187 return yards.

Best 1st rounder - Tony Boselli: Made 5 Pro Bowls and 3 All Pros. Selected to the 1990’s All Decade Team and played on 4 straight playoff teams and was enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Greg Jones 272 rushes for 913 yards for 3.4 yards per carries and 10 TDs + 471 receiving yards for 1,384 total yards

For a 2nd round pick this guy would have been considered a major bust with any other fanbase.

I get it, people like Greg Jones because he was tough, had a great highlight (once), and was a good college player.  That said,

I mean, think about it, Etienne already has 2,133 rushing yards (16 TDs) and 792 receiving yards for 2,925 total yards.

I recall Greg Jones getting stuffed at the 1 yard line 4x in a row --- terrible at the goal line with this high running style he had.
