Bortles makes it by season 4 or bust
2 out of 100 you say? We're moving up in the world!

Yep, for too long it was 0-100, moving up indeed.
With an equal share of top-100 players between teams, we'd be expecting 3 players. 2 isn't too shabby.

Of course, whether Thomas would have made the list had he been on this team last year is up for debate. Would be interesting to see a breakdown by team at the end of this.
Saw a tweet yesterday that there will be no 49ers on the top 100 list. That's a "wow" for us to have two and them to have none after all the good players they had the past couple of years.

Kinda crazy that neither smith made this list....
or Gabs
Of course he is! Julius Thomas may be the best FA in Jax history. My memory isn't as good as it used to be, but I can't think of who I would put ahead of him.
We are VERY lucky to have him. I just hope he can stay healthy, that is paramount. We need him on the field (more than we need that first down..).

Until now I'd say the next biggest FA hit was Marks.
Thomas could flame out though.... he was a big signing, now we need him to grab 5-10 TDs for him to the best signing.

Well if they said one 49er made it, we'd all know it was Gabbert at #1. This way it will be more of a surprise.

If Gabbert isn't on this list it all becomes one big media scam anyways. It can't be real. It's only on TV for entertainment and viewers and is in no way valid anymore!

Well, Julius hasn't played yet, but he has the potential to be that.
That said, both Keenan and Jimmy were technically free-agent signings. Same with Searcy. People forget him too, but Mike Peterson was a very good FA signing.

We'll see how JT pans out, but he'll have to be pretty good to top the free agent acquisition of Leon Searcy.
In order: Smith, McCardell, Searcy, Peterson, then Thomas.
Quote:Marks was already on the list and now Julius Thomas who was last year on Den but now a Jag comes in at 45!!
Nice to bring in a high caliber FA who can also help our young QB

Don't forget Randall Cobb and McCourty -- we almost acquired them in free agency. This just goes to show that we're able to recognize talent.
Even though Thomas really doesn't count (Denver Accomplishments), it's nice to have two Jaguar players ranked within the top 100...
NH3...

I think Brunell was acquired in a trade.
I think the best talent we have is J. Thomas at TE, and DT S. Marks, and then RG Linder
