hes prob gonna be charged at minimum with a hit and run on that car wreck but they wont be able to really prove anything else.

I doubt it. He's been on the market since the start of FA and was recently picked up by NE before this little screw up. He may not find another opportunity until someone gets hurt during the season.

I can see the Cowboys Defensive Coordinator a couple of seasons ago, Rob Ryan, wanting his current team, the Saints, to pick Brandon Spikes up. I agree with Achilles that Spikes will land with a 3-4 team.

Exactly. He was lingering out there for a while, and what was interesting was that he was listed on the Patriots roster as a Practice Squad/Off Season player, so they weren't really heavily invested in him sticking around. He got something like a $25k signing bonus.
I noticed elsewhere that there were several fans saying we should sign him to back up Poz since we don't really have anyone filling that role currently. He's slow. He's not a good fit for our scheme. He hasn't exactly been setting the world on fire with his production. But, at the end of the day these people want the Jaguars to pursue him because, wait for it, he's a Gator.
