A bunch of old, washed up scrubs.
Welker's done, Moreno can't stay healthy, Carriker's coming off a huge injury that he may not be able to recover from, Williams is done.

Based on how former Jaguars DT C.J. Mosley performed with the Lions last season,  I truly believe he's at or near the top of the list of available FAs,   But the incident in London that led to him being told to go back to the U.S.  before the Lions-Falcons game is why I believe he's still available.

There is really no one here really worth going after. The guys who play positions we have needs at are really not a significant upgrade.

Not worth the money or time.

If they had value they'd be on a team now, depth players currently on rosters that will potentially be released during preseason will be worth lookin at.
I am waiting on the Dallas cuts, TBH.

Right now they should be loaded at RT with Free, Collins, and their 3rd round pick out of Florida.

Even if they keep all of their offensive linemen, they will have to cut someone else they otherwise would not have cut but for the glut at OL.

I think the most we will do at this point with Ace looking good is see what happens on the waiver wire.
The waiver wire is going to change from day to day as we get closer to training camp.

Jeff Tuel................ oh jk, hes a jaguars now

Waiver wire changes everyday, if a guy is released he passes through waivers & is then just a free agent. I think we will work the waivers a lot this off season.
We shouldn't work the waiver wire nearly as much as the last two years.

We are "set" with our guys in most positions. Just don't see us doing anything crazy.
There are probably a few moves left to explore, but for the most part we're talking about bottom of the roster moves.
Edit: Spectacular redundancy.
Quote:This is why I am looking at the Dallas cuts.

Assuming they hit on Collins and Chad Green, they would effectively be three deep at RT. Under that scenario, I could see them maybe cutting Doug Free to go younger and cheaper. If they moved one to the G opposite Zach Martin, Ron Leary possibly goes to the bench or gets cut.

If they keep all of the linemen, they will end up cutting a player or two they might otherwise wouldn't cut.

A guy like that might be a contributor for us.
You're right. But now that we've claimed someone on the waiver wire, doesn't that mean we go to the back of the line again?

Unless the rules/ procedures with the claiming process have changed,  the Jaguars would be 3rd in the claiming process with all players subject to the claiming process up until after Week # 3 of the regular season.   This is based on the 2014 results in the standings.  After week # 3,  the claiming process would be determined by the current 2015 standings.
