Quote:It's most likely out of Marks, Poz, Telvin, and McCray. The episode will air Wednesday night.
I would think Marks should make it based on his performance last season, but if Telvin Smith made it I wouldnt be shocked as he had a great rookie year (but he didnt get put in until the 2nd half of the season as a starter, and he did miss tackle a lot (11 times according to ProFootball) as far as McCray I would be shocked if he made the top 100....

He should get a starting role opposite to House unless A. Colvin or Gratz can knock him off during PreSeason but I dont see him good enough to be in the top 100.

To me if you have a lot of players make the top 100 and you didnt make the playoffs what does that say about your head coach?

It has to be Marks because I am still shaking my head as to why he didnt make the ProBowl but the Top100 i think is voted by the players themselves... so he should make the list.

Marks

I would guess it is Abry Jones da GAWD

I still laugh that the Titans let Marks walk. We turned him into their greatest enemy. Ain't no more motivation like playing the team who let you go twice a season.

He is the perfect example of why you need to have patience with young players and let them develop.

Contrary to the beliefs of some on this board, players do  have the ability to improve drastically beyond their second season.
Anyone know the timetable on Marks injury?

Why isn't McCray good enough to make the top 100 because every good receiver we faced he shut down by himself. People on here sometimes make him seems like he's hot garbage.
McCray, or the list loses all credibility.

Ugh we should've drafted Ryan Kerrigan..
People are really overrating McCray.

I love him too, but Randal Cobb is the 100th top player, and McCray is not a Randal Cobb level of player. Not yet anyway.

The list doesn't even have a CB yet, so he'd have to be top 70 player MINIMUM.

Sorry, he's not there yet.
What number was he on the list?

i see, 76

Just now watching Marks on the countdown. Some interesting mentions about him from other players. Hood is funny, talking about Sen.

The most interesting thing was to hear Dee Ford say "he's on point. he's been on point. the world is just now starting to see him, but I've been watching film on him since '08, '09."

I gotta say, im glad Dee cleared that up, cause as soon as i saw him, i thought, what could a 2nd year player on the chiefs know about Marks

Here's the video interview of the # 76 announcement:

Looks like the only link NFL.com has is the reaction, but not the actual highlights and players talking about him.  Is it me or does this type of thing routinely happen to us?

They had SenDerrick on for a good while (via satellite) on a really good segment. They started off trying to play Marks bur he stood as a stature of strength and represented The Jags as not a joke. Sen did his thing though.
The anaylyst seem to have an issue with Marks being ranked over Ngata and Aaron Donald.

But its clear however, via the voting, his peers had no issue ranking him 76th.

All 3 of these DTs are highly accomplished players and when relatively healthy should clearly be assets for their teams.

Because Aaron Donald is only entering his 2nd NFL season,  barring something unexpected,  he probably will be in the top 50 in the next year or two.   Considering the talent on the St. Louis Rams Defensive Line,  it wouldn't surprise me if Donald even is ranked in the top 25 by 2017.

Wait, wait, wait...

So you're saying he's not a Revis clone?  He's not our Richard Sherman?  He's not reminiscent of Rashean Mathis in his prime?

"Hater"
McCray has to at least get an interception before he is a top 100 player. I like the guy a lot but come on now.
