I'm trying to figure out where I said I hate him.

I think the uniforms look awesome...could be worse, we could be the Browns and just change the shade of crap orangish brown color every few years...I think a few of you need to just let it go...we could be in pink polka dots with yellow stripes and purple helmets for all I care, I just want to win.

If the helmets were just one color, it would not even be an issue. That half/half monstrosity looks terrible.

 

All gold or all black and nobody would say anything.

Exactly.  The uniforms alone actually aren't bad.  If they would have done a different helmet where the gold led to black in a different way, it would still look much better.  Whoever chose that helmet should have been fired.

 

I agree though, those pictures show the all gold or all black would have looked pretty awesome.

Unfortunately, they still have to wait two years I believe to fix it

I feel like the fan base has been loud enough about it that there is a realistic chance we'll see a change in two years.

 

I'm just hoping they realize the helmet isn't one of those things that'll "grow" on us.

I think Khan is probably smart enough to realize they made a mistake. I expect a change at the earliest possible time.

Does anyone like the helmets? we used to have one of the coolest in the league, and we intentionally went to the worst. That's our Jaguars.

I  personally like Uniforms and Helmets but i liked when we had a Jaguar going down both arms. I still have Brunell,J Smooth and Freddy T jerseys in my closet. Was looking at them early this week thanking about wearing but didn't.

Wouldn't it be kinda cool if they updated the prowling jaguar logo, and stuck that back on the sleeves?

Outside the white on white, junk everything including the helmets. They're uninspired and look bad. The logo gets a pass but I'm disappointed whenever I see these unis especially the helmets. Nike dropped the ball

I think if the helmet went back to all black, it would make a most significant improvement. 

 

I love the teal numbers on the away jersey.

 

I dislike the gold/yellow "collar" on the home jersey.

 

Bring back the crawling jaguar on the sleeves.

 

The pants are decent i think. I have bigger concerns like the ones i mentioned above.

 

What was so wrong with the late 90's early 2000's uniforms? Those were one of the BEST in the league. Is it possible to just take those, and "enhance" them?

2007-2008 jerseys were good too.

The only reason Smith doesn't like them is because he played with the original unis while he was here and prefers the classic look. At least Suggs dug them.

 

Also, why does a uniform debate always have to show up every other week?

Because the helmets are terrible.

 

Same reason when the season starts, there will be multiple threads about how awful Frangie is at PBP.
