Personally, I like this thread.

I think we're all in agreement that we would NOT take Zac Stacey and move our 2nd round selection from #36 to #41

I think the majority of us WOULD have taken Tre Mason and move our 2nd round selection from #36 to #41

To be clear, I don't have a problem with the discussion.  I just know how these digress into heated debates about something that didn't happen.  If the report is accurate and the Jags were offered Stacey and the Ram's 2nd rounder, and they passed on that, it's because they didn't feel the value was there.  I'm fine with that.  They had already contemplated trading back up into the first round for Gurley or Gordon, but both were off the board so quickly they had to make a decision about improving the running game.  They saw Yeldon as the last legitimate 3 down back in the draft.  They pulled the trigger.  I"m fine with that.  Hopefully they got it right.
Well we didn't get Stacy.. Guess Dave ran out of ham..

Exactly.  Zac wasn't worth it but it's interesting to know that the offer may have been on the table and the fact that Caldwell may have smirked and said what about Tre Mason.   Very valid and astute response.

I wouldn't expect anything else from him considering he's a pretty astute individual.
Ya, Tre Mason is the guy we would want.  Stacy is good, not great.

Interesting. I know they wanted to shop Stacy, but I'm also interested who the Rams were targeting so they wanted to move up from 41 to 36. My guess is DGB. As soon as he was taken at 40 the Rams traded down to 57.

fisher can shove him up his [BLEEP]
I'd rather their forth round pick, as opposed to Tre Mason. Even though his Pops was in De La Soul, Jay Ajayi will be better.
