Honestly, if I'm taking a WR in this draft, I take one that has that potential to be #1 WR. I'm not sure I take one that's strictly a slot guy unless he's just really really really good.
DGB is interesting in that Mike Evans mold, but the character concerns scares me a bit. Right now, not knowing who's going, I'm thinking:
2 - Rowe
3 - RB (Duke/David/Ameer)
4 - Smelter
I'm expecting Rowe, strong or the jags preferred runner
Quote:Is he a ball hawking type of safety though? We need speed at that position.
Showed good range on the cutups I've watched of him, then ran 4.45-ish at the combine.
Quote:We don't need no stinking safeties. Luck and Mariota are only going to have 2 seconds to throw the ball.
Unfortunately, it only takes 1.5 seconds for Josh Evans to be ten yards out of position.

Caldwell has already said he wants to add a slot receiver because he sees Lee and Robinson playing outside. Tyler Lockett would be great but I think 36 is too early and it may be wishful thinking on my part that he's available in the 3rd.

24 hours ago, I would have strongly disagreed with your assessment of Lockett's draft position. After the way receivers were yanked off the board last night, I'm not so sure that you're wrong about it.
