There are enough guys with clean records, who don't flunk drug tests, and who play hard all the time, that we can take our pick of those guys. No way I would take anyone with any kind of red flag in their background at this point.

DGB has sooooooooooo many red flags. Obviously he is a great size and has talent, but its a massive risk with the work ethic, the assault allegations and drug use.
I dont think we're in a position to take a risk that big, regardless of talent.

They don't have to prove it was true. They just have to believe it was true. All these teams have investigators who can go and gather evidence, talk to people, find out what happened.

Fair point. Players do turn around though, on the same basis would you of not had Ray Lewis on your team?
Aside from the off the field stuff. People overrate his ability. Looks better on paper than on the field.

But the difference is that we have a choice of another player. If the Ravens had wanted to get rid of Ray Lewis, they wouldn't have been given the opportunity to go back in the draft and select someone else.

1st Ray Lewis was a heck of a lot more talented than this kid is. 2nd, it's not like he got in trouble for one incident. He's screwed up enough times I imagine teams think it's a trend.
Plus his ability as a WR isn't what everyone makes it out to be.
