Quote:If we draft Gurley in the top 10, Caldwell's expiration date as GM is December 31, 2016.
Have to agree here. He knows better though...I hope.
Quote:I can guarantee that if we polled the 904 right now, of those people wanting Gurley with the #3 pick, probably 50% of them don't even realize he's coming off of a torn ACL.
I just heard some dude call 1010XL stating we needed to pick Gurley with the #2 pick. Perhaps his newspaper didn't come yet this morning to get him up to speed on the latest information.
The same type of fan you see hammered at a Gators dockside screaming Tebow
God please no. Just take the impact player at 3. I like Gurley, just no.

Definitely !! .... and still referring to our prior QBs as Brian Leftwich and David Jerrard
I see Gurley as our target if we trade back into the first.
Certainly not at 3.

From what I hear, he won't last past 14. I don't even think Gordon makes it past the top 25.

Makes you wonder just how high he would have gone if healthy.
I'd say top 2, 3. It would have to be between Williams, Winston, and Gurley (IMO.)

With a Jerry Porter jersey he got from TJ Maxx
I would not draft a Gurley man.

Ha. Nice.
I think this draft us a replay of 2013. When Dave had identified Joeckel as the best player available and the pick came to him. I think he has identified Williams as the best player available and it's going to fall to us. So it's Williams or a trade back no further than Atlanta

Perfect.
I know I'm in the minority, but I wouldn't hesitate to grab Gurley at #3! IMO he is the best RB prospect since AP. He is the same caliber RB but he catches the ball better out the backfield.

I'm pretty sure your screen name doesn't indicate any bias.

Actually my college team is FSU!
Best running back SINCE AP, not as good as for sure......Oh ya, AP wasn't coming out with a torn ACL....semantics I guess.
Yeldon is good but imagine this offense with Gurley...
Imagine a defense with Fowler. Todd Gurley was given his time to rehab from an ACL, we should let Fowler, too. Todd is amazing, though!

Gurley is a beast but we need pass rushers.

This.
A very effective pass rusher and Yeldon would be more beneficial to us than Gurley.
