I think everyone is in agreement that the offense has been the weak spot on this team for the last couple of years. Dave and Gus have found defensive playmakers later in the draft (Smith/McCray etc) so why not invest the top 2 picks in offensive skill positions?

I love the idea of stacking the offense. Pick up Cooper in round one and Ajayi in round two and we'd be looking like this:

QB: Bortles, Henne, Morris/Rookie

RB  D Robinson, Ajayi, Pierce, Johnson

FB: Gerhart

WR: Cooper, A Robinson, Lee, Hurns (+ one of Sanders, Benn, Streeter, Copeland, Doss or Walters)

TE: Thomas, Lewis,  ( + one of Harbor, Jensen or Jacobs)

Line: Joeckel, Beadles, Wisniewski/Bowanko, Linder, Pasztor/Parnell (+ one of Wells, Shatley, Young or a later round rookie)

On paper that would be the best jaguars offense in a long long time. Depth at every position, playmakers at every position. Surrounding Bortles with as many weapons as possible and a strong o-line.

Yea it looks nice I believe Gurley would be more of an impact to the Jags then Cooper or Ajayi...Then go get either Perriman if hes there or Strong or even a Leo if Dupree or Gregory still there..I believe with how deep the draft is at Wide-Out you could wait and still get a solid player. But at Running back its really just 2 studs out there then a drop off.. The jags need that stud!
I dig it. Would be a little concerned about our D line/FS. Clemons isn't getting younger, and Marks is coming off an ACL tear. Who would replace those sacks ?

The O has pretty much sucked since the Shack/Del Rio era.  Time fly's when you're trying to cross the 50 yard line.
