Throw out some trades the Jags could get in on from #3.

I'll throw one out that hasn't been mentioned, or at least not often...

Saints receive 1.03

Jaguars receive 1.13, 1.31, and FS Jairus Byrd.
Eagles get pick 3

Jags get pick 20, 2016 1st round pick, Kiko Alonzo and tebow
Jets get pick 3.

Jags get pick 6 and the Jets' 2nd round pick.   That's my absolute favorite trade.   We would still have our pick of players we wouldn't have minded picking at 3, and that second round pick would be pure gold with all the receivers and running backs available at that spot.

Jags take Leonard Williams at Pick 3

Jags trade Pick 36 to Eagles for Pick 52 and Vinny Curry to play Leo.

The obvious elephant in the room...

Cleveland trades 1.12, 1.19, and 3.77 for Jag's 1.03 to take Mariota if he slides by the Titans.

Mad scientist style:

1: Winston

2:Williams

1.03 to NYJ for 1.06 and 2nd rounder

NYJ take Mariota

4:Cooper

5:Fowler

1.06 to STL for 1.10 and 2nd rounder

STL takes White

7:Shelton

8Big Grinupree

9:Scherff

At 10 Jags take Beasley and walk into day 2 with 3 2nd rounders.
Would anyone want to take back Miliner in addition to 1.06, the 2nd from the Jets? They are looking to dump him with Revis, Cromartie, and Skrine ahead of him. Maybe a proeject for FS since he has had some trouble to adjusting to having to backpedal in the NFL.
The rumor out of Atlanta (from a writer at their paper, the Atlanta Journal Constitution) is that their GM Thomas Dimitroff may be eyeing pick 3 in order to take a targeted Dante Fowler Jr.  Their new coach coached Fowler for two years, and the Falcons have a pass rusher high on their list.  That would be moving up from pick 8 to pick 3.

A similar move took place in last year's draft when the Bills moved up from pick 9 to pick 4 to take Sammy Watkins.  They gave up 1.09, a 1st in 2015, and a 4th in 2015.

Yep. And the trade down target could be Gurley.

NFL Network's Albert Breer reports the Falcons are looking to trade up from No. 8 overall in Thursday night's draft.

Per Breer, the Falcons' target is an "impact defender." Atlanta badly needs pass-rush help. Florida's Dnate Fowler is widely viewed as the top edge-rushing prospect in this class and could come off the board as early as No. 3 to the Jaguars. Jacksonville may be a team looking to move back and acquire more picks.

Todd Gurley | CLG

(April 27, 2015 5:52 PM EDT)

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport mentions the Jaguars, Texans, and Dolphins as potential landing spots for Georgia RB Todd Gurley.

Note that all of the teams named by RapSheet select in the top half of the first round. On the board at No. 3 overall, the Jags would presumably target Gurley in a trade down. Coming off November ACL surgery, Gurley could be "eased in" behind Arian Foster and Lamar Miller in Houston and Miami, respectively.

Yes. Get Dave on the phone!
Atlanta trades with Oakland for Fowler.
Jaguars trade down with the Browns for both of their first round picks this year and a second next. We may throw in a late pick.

This is my dream, I doubt we would take a 1st next year, just swap picks and get their 2nd and maybe a 6th

Well, we'd def TAKE a first next year, I doubt its offered though
I think it depends on what a team is coming up for. If its a quarterback, an extra first is just a starting point. For Fowler from 1.08, probably just a 2nd and change. Supply and demand.
