#1 objective should be to make blake an effective qb. I hate to say it but JB is not coming back. so do we take a leo at 3 or go with a wr? I actually have thought about Gurley at 3. have to watch more films on cooper but he may be the best pick. I want a LEO as much as most people do but Blake needs to prove he's the one. we got some players on offense this off season to help but I wouldn't mind one more. or two more. thoughts?
I think at three especially you go with BAP only because we already have our Qb and i feel like we are pretty close. In the rounds after that you go after needs.
so if you have a rush end a little higher rated than a receiver right now you do that? if that receiver makes your QB better and the pass rusher may have 5 sacks this year knowing that this may be a make or break for your QB? still a BAP? I disagree.

umm if Bortles isn't gonna be good with Lee, Robinson, Thomas, Lewis, Hurns, Denard, whatever other Rb we draft and improved O-Line & an up and coming Defense that will only help put you in better position do you really have the right QB anyways?

Nope, #2 overall LT, high dollar FA RT and LG, rebound former top 10 C candidate, top 2 paid TE, and two 2nd round WR isn't enough...we must also use 3 and 36 on WR/RB or Bortles doesn't have a fair shake.
I am to the point of decisiveness, whereas I'm pretty sure it's gonna be either Gurley in the 1st and a top #1 type receiver in the 2nd (like DGB), or Take Cooper, White or Parker in the 1st and draft the RB they like (Ajayi) in the 2nd
So I am done. Until the Draft

Haha Right?!?!?! This is much appreciated. Great QBs have been successful with much less in terms of weapons. which in turn sometimes become weapons because Of Good QB play!!!!!! Its a Two way street!

Where has anyone ever said taking a RB and WR was necessary or Bortles wouldn't have a fair shake?
None of this makes sense given what I have seen.
Unless amari moonlights as QB coach he isnt going to make bortles drastically better, only bortles on his own can achieve that. We dont need to throw more weapons at him we just have to hope he gets better so all the good weapons he ALREADY HAS can get the ball. The only thing ill say we "give" blake is a good 3 down back to take some pressure off.
And ignoring the defense would prove to be detrimental.
I have been blasted on other boards for saying if we cant get a trade down then take Gurley at 3 cuz I know he needs to succeed for our success
and when I say other boards its one my bad haha
I've been more and more leaning towards Cooper the past couple days
I'm currently on the Leonard Williams, and Amari Cooper if he's not there bandwagon. But hey, we can make our predictions with 20-20 hindsight in just a few days...

I think if Leonard Williams is on the board at 3 we have to either take him or trade down. There's no way we should pass on the consensus best player in the draft.
If we trade down, the ideal spot would be the Jets' pick at #6. That would give us our choice of some premium players: Cooper, Fowler, White, etc.
No way we should spend the #3 pick in the draft on a RB. That is way too high. I don't think Gurley will go before the 12th pick.

I kinda agree with this too.. Except if we go RB in the first, i think they go leo/lb in the second..

We're not going RB at #3. That ain't happening.

Finally something I agree with!

I was thinking taking Gurley at 8. Really hoping to trade back and still get that "difference maker" That could be Gordon or Parker too

Quite possible. Supposedly the Falcons would be willing to trade up for Dante Fowler.

Yeah, that too. Either Harold or Perriman would be a solid pick #36 or #42 (hoping Dave and Demitroff work out a trade giving us 8 and 42 for #3)
