Sorry if posted already but Mayock thinks we would have the best fit with picking up a WR. Now I haven't thought about it but, given that we find Caldwell reasonably unpredictable on his picks, I could see this being an option and would be considered more of a surprise pick since all think we'll go DE.

But I got a good feeling we may get some really delicious trade offers at 3 and trade back with someone to get extra picks.

I feel like you have to go for BAP @ 3 and that IMO is williams.
I wouldn't hate a Beasley or Fowler pick but I agree. I would love to get Cooper and get a Telvin Coleman in the 2nd
can't go wrong with drafting Amari Cooper.

I think if there is a LEO later in the rounds they will go with a trade down and Gurley or a WR in Cooper...

I have gut feeling we trade back
I'd be thrilled with Amari Cooper. He's a weapon that can hurt teams from all over the field. He's a real #1 WR.

I'd love to have him.
White or Cooper makes this team bettwr. Fowler or Beasley too. A smart and lucky GM would trade back and still land one of the 4.

only if you have those 4 graded equally or at least close to equal.

But I get what you're saying.  I personally don't want Kevin White.
Kevin White to me isn't a polished route runner like Amari Cooper. We have our deep threat in Marquise Lee so it would really be pointless to take Kevin White. For me a RB helps Bortles more than Amari Cooper because we do have plenty of WR and we can draft a slot receiver later in the rounds. I think we need to finish up our front seven with a LEO. Only if the Jags had landed Hughes, Cooper or Gurley with a trade down would have been a lock.

White lined up outside. Thomas inside same side. AR15 the other side. that's quality that you can't cover one on one
Bortles2Blackmon...

I like the sound of Gurley/Cooper in the first and Orchard in the 2nd.

I think white is an excellent route running and can really attack the ball in the air.
I think the value would be better to take a Leo in the first round and a WR in the 2nd or 3rd. My gut is a team in the top 10 trades up for Leonard Williams - pretty much any team could use him but he'd be a luxury pick for us - and the Jaguars take one of Fowler/Beasley/Dupree/Gregory.

As much as I would love a good rusher, I think I want Cooper at 3 and a RB in the 2nd. I want to load up Bortles with so much talent that it is coming out of the ears. I believe our D should be pretty consistent this year with who we already have now. If all goes to plan then by next year our offense will be in great shape and we can really get some youth on the D line with next years draft.
Beasley after a trade back with say NYJ and grabbing an extra 2nd would be outstanding
Like I don't want us taking Cooper but it's so exciting taking position players. Eventually were going to have to take a defensive stud for Gus. Fow/Beas ?

This front office's head is on the line, and the only way to save it is to improve the offense.

The defense is good enough to stay competitive and win games, whereas the offense is nearly dead last in every category.

Get Cooper, load Bortles up with offensive lineman and weapons, and then worry about the rest.
I'm really torn though. I want a dominate pass rusher. Hence Beasley, but the appeal of Cooper and a high power offense is hard to deny, especially if we could somehow get Gurley too
