Quote:I'm seeing more and more of Cooper love, are we really closer to taking Cooper over Fowler? I mean obviously none of us know for sure, but I mean really?

I doubt it, remember last year when we were gonna take Watkins or Mack
Quote:Beasley not taken in the first round if I'm looking at it right?

Here's how that can happen.

They were alternating picks.   So if, for example, McShay has Beasley going to the Jags at 3, but Kiper is doing the Jags pick, and he has Fowler going to the Jags, and then Kiper has Beasley going to the Raiders, but McShay is doing the pick and he has the Raiders picking Cooper, then Beasley falls all the way out of the first round.   Both of them could have had Beasley in the top 5 but at different picks, and the alternating picks caused Beasley not to get picked.  And they just stuck to the script for all the rest of the picks.

That's how it might have happened.
But still. To not have him go at all is silly. Even if he somehow got out of the top 13, would be teams like Baltimore or Houston pass on him?

could be like Damantre Moore a few years back. Cooper in the 1st Beasley in the 2nd?

If we got Copper in the 1st and Beasley in the 2nd, my head would explode. That would seriously be the best possible scenario.

Thats nearly impossible at this point but my god would it be amazing.
Beasley would not fall past the Saints.  Only reason would be some off the field or drug things that we don't know about yet.

Heck if Cushing can still make it with all his PED issues why do we worry about Beasley possibly having the issue?
So earlier in the day McShay posts a mock with Fowler to the Jaguars. That night he has Cooper to the Jags.

Yes, but they were alternating picks, so if each of them had him going to a different team, and it turned out that it was always the other guy doing the pick, then he could get skipped over.

I agree, though, it was pretty silly that they couldn't notice what had happened and go off script and get him selected in the top 15 at least.

And to have New England skip him at pick 32 was really idiotic.

I'd like to see Beasley fall to the 2nd just so I can see the BBC crew whiff again.

If this is the way they did it, it's probably the worst mock draft in history.

Shows how serious they take these things.  It's just about making noise is all.

That's why these mocks are considered entertainment not sports reporting.

Yeah, these guys have to churn out mock drafts every few days to keep the editors happy and keep getting clicks.  They can't keep it the same the whole time.

If they slot every possible player with every team leading up to the draft, they can never be wrong.  It's like a weatherman.

But two different players to the same team in the span of a few hours?
