I think a lot of people forget that JJ Watt just turned 26.   Imagine having a Ray Lewis type defender for the next 8 years.  Clowney - Question mark but immense potential.

 

Blake -  love this dude but reality still states that he had a 69.5 QBR including 11 TDs and 17 ints.

 

3rd pick in the draft?  Fowler?  L. Williams (the next tall skinny DT ->alualu)? -- not exactly a sure thing either way so I equate that potential to Clowney.

 

I'd have to say neither team would pull the trigger on this trade as well.

If Blake becomes a franchise QB, which I believe he will, and we were to make this trade before his talent really manifests, it will backfire. I don't care how talented Watt is, I'd rather have a franchise QB.

JJ Watt is the best Defender in the NFL -- plenty of teams have won the super bowl with great defenses ...... from the year 2000+ here is a list
