Nothing has really happened under this administration. Mostly all talk.

Because in liberal's minds, meaningful reform should be instant.

That's odd, to hear the left tell it Trump is sweeping the last of the minority babies into the ovens with a pushbroom as we speak. It's almost like you guys are in hysterical over-reaction mode or something.

Crap is broke!

Get single payer and let's move on.

Because unless something is completed in 25 days it will never get done?

Yeah, lets burn it all the way down!

Brilliant!

Well, after Trump promising that everything would get done on day one, it's notable that not one single thing has actually happened.

ya other than the signing of a ton of executive orders specifically outlining his campaign promises to set the wheels in motion he has done nothing.

Do you really believe this or do you just troll for responses? As much as you may take issue with the guy for one reason or another, you can not with good conscience sit back and believe the wheels of progress aren't spinning. The guy has been in office three weeks and has had zero assistance from the other side of the aisle, but yet has moved forward regardless. Instead of "politicians" criticizing every move whether personal or dutiful, they should be working together for even better progress. Sadly your comment is just a microcosm of the left thinking: Easier to complain than to offer up a solution.
So what's happening with the wall? American Taxpayers are footing the bill right?

How about repealing the ACA. Why is it taking them so long.

Let me type this slowly for you so you can understand.

C O N G R E S S   H A S   TO   A P P R O V E   T H O S E   T W O   I T E M S.

Just curious if those that think Americans will pay for the wall, if they also think that the consumer wouldn't foot the bill if we gave a substantial minimum pay wage?

You mean the republican based congress? What is the hold up? I thought they were behind Trump 100%

Wow this sounds exactly like the Democrats when they had the supermajority and said they couldn't get all they wanted done. Same story different tune. Sorry, Repubs are not interested in repeal and replace anymore. They have settled back in, and will start railing in a year and a half about how the Dems blocked them. Trump should have never latched onto that talking point about 'not having anything to replace it' and just repealed the whole thing. His original idea of making insurance able to cross state lines would have been a great start.

Marty is unfortunately right, I don't have confidence that the repubs will remove obamacare.

That's unfortunate you view it as a lost cause three weeks in, but yet it is moving forward and will take time. The way health insurers are dropping out of the ACA, there will be no choice in the matter.

HE DID NOT!! LOL

He said "first 100 days"

and even said in some instances the first "30"

But feel free to cite a quote and prove me wrong.

AAAAAAND through Executive order, those without medical insurance will not be levied a fine disguised as a tax. Instant results there, and my mom's return is proof.

Exactly...

Trump may be able to sit back and wait for it to crumble under itself.

Then Americans will be begging for a replacement of any sort.
Quote:You mean the republican based congress? What is the hold up? I thought they were behind Trump 100%

The hold up is that Senate Democrats have been delaying the approval of Trump's cabinet. Congress is stuck in the meantime.

And bills concerning the ACA and the wall are subject to Senate filibuster. The ACA can be repealed as part of a spending bill to get around a filibuster, but replacing it will take some Democrats to come on board.

Are you that clueless that you don't understand this, or are you just trolling?

In theory, yeah sure... But if your taxes don't go up, what do you care?

Right now your tax money funds nation building and wars for oil properties....

And after taxes and tariffs or defunding of foreign aid... Mexico will pay it back.

Everyone was crying about their medical being "taken away" so they didn't want to repeal without a replacement. Replacement plans take time to try to appease as many people as possible.

He did sign an executive order removing the IRS' individual mandate, thus instantly improving the situation for those who chose NOT to be forced to purchase insurance.

The mandate is dead.  IRS will process returns that do not provide information on Line 61, which is the one asking if you carried medical insurance in 2016.
