Unrelated, but Chip Kelly has been randomly chosen to undergo drug testing

Love it. Its like Madden in real life.

Chip Kelly is smart, but he still needs a QB who has the ability to read defenses and make accurate throws. Which is why this move makes no sense. Because TT lets the Lord guide him any time his first option is taken away from him. If he makes the final roster, it's as a #3 QB and it means the team feels like they missed when they drafted Barkley. The lovers will have the rose colored glasses on regarding the abilities of a truly sub par QB. Skip Bayless gets to rehash his nonsensical drivel. Iggle fans who haven't yet gotten to fully hate this move surely will by the time the circus hits training camp.

Having Tebow in the league somewhere else is a good thing.
04-20-2015, 07:31 AM
I always found the Tebow haters weirder than the Tebow lovers. I wish him luck.

Quote:He let him go because of the circus. They knew if Peyton had a bad game the Tebow chants would follow so he traded him. Should he of kept Tebow over Peyton? cmon man
You're the only one here thats die hard enough to pull for him, but everyone else is wrong?
I said it in the Jameis thread....you can't see the real truth because you're a die hard Gator fan. He's not good, but nothing anybody says here will convince you.
Are you going to shed a tear when he gets cut? Are you happy he'll be at best a 3rd stringer?
04-20-2015, 08:25 AM
...c'mon. It's not even a gimmee he makes the team.

Quote:And the usual suspects will come out and hate on Tebow cause Vic and Gene did (Oh and cause hes religious, thats just not allowed!). You guys should know better. Tebow is nothing like Gabbert, he actually scores and isnt scared of being hit, and won games.
Best of luck Tebow. Que the Genies saying that only Gator fans like Tebow.
Tim Tebow 47.9% career completion percentage. Gabbert is above 53%.
With all the negatives that Gabbert possesses, he still completes passes at a better clip than Tebow.
Lets rehash why Tebow won those games in 2011. It's because his defense was #1 in the NFL during that time...but we'll all act like Tebow was playing like Manning and Brady during that period.
04-20-2015, 08:33 AM
here we go again with the tebow posts. We will end up with over 2 million about 1 overrated qb.

Please, everyone, don't let Tebow tear this happy message board family apart any longer. We must all be strong, strong like a shirtless Tebow jogging in the rain.

My wife was happy this happened so she could see all the Tebow pictures from people reporting he was being signed.
He's a great guy, role model and all of that. After two years off, if he has fixed all his issues, good for him...I just don't see how it can happen.

Some of ya'll need to relax, he'll be a backup at most

Chip Kelly took one too many rips from the bong today.
04-20-2015, 09:25 AM
He was a gimmick in Denver. Just like when the wildcat came out and Miami was winning games with Ronnie Brown taking snaps. Not to mention a great defense. There's a reason why after that season he never had success again. He's just simply not that good.
He couldn't beat out Sanchez in NY, there's no way he beats out Sanchez or Bradford

This misunderstands Kelly’s attack. “I look for a quarterback who can run and not a running back who can throw. I want a quarterback who can beat you with his arm,” Kelly explained at a coaches clinic in the spring of 2011, emphatically adding, “We are not a Tim Tebow type of quarterback team. I am not going to run my quarterback 20 times on power runs.”

Head scratcher.
Kelly is becoming quite tricky to figure.
One thing is certain... He'll roll the dice.

The best comeback for all Tebow supporters.... "The team didn't want to deal with the circus!"
NFL teams don't care at all what you do as long as you help them win. It's why Vick got a second chance and Hardy is getting another chance. Tebow just flat out can't play QB. If he could, some team would have had him playing QB for them the past 3 years.
