The one time I should have gotten a warning I didn't even get one. In fact, I thought I was going to get a ban for a bit.

As tempting as that may sound, I think I'll defer the free gift offers and take them at the right time. I think another winless September may do it and I sure know another winless Sept & October will surely get me, at a minimum, on the 1-week ban list.

I didn't forgive him, I just think too much of the blame was going to the wrong person. I also said in that thread that I changed my opinion as the discussion went on. How often does that happen on this board?

I don't know how the software works now, but back when it would automatically mask a curse word, I masked a curse word on my own, and got a warning for it. I am completely, totally baffled by that one. What I posted looked exactly as it would have looked if I had actually typed the curse word and the system had masked it for me. Apparently, there was a rule against masking curse words. You were supposed to type the actual curse word, and let the system mask it. What a weird rule.

Not really. The reason I think it's that way is because when some people "mask" the word they'll spell out the whole curse word and throw in an exclamation point for one letter and say its masked.
They have to remove the ambiguity because some people will always find a loop hole.
I'm assuming what you did was fine....some of these mods like to throw out warnings. They throw out warnings like the Waldo police throw out tickets. :woot:

I've had 1 warning for like...........1-2 years now. It never went away.
My warning points state zero but I think I was warned once for writing something that was deemed religious in nature. Is there a time frame on them?

6 months on the current board. Warnings from the old board don't get removed automatically because of a glitch.
