With the Browns changing their uniform and it still being dead season I wanted to create a poll to see how everyone feels about our current helmet design.
We have had a couple years to let them settle in, so I want to know what the verdict is.
I know we have created a poll on our entire uniform, but this is strictly the helmets.

Don't like the helmets, though I am used to them now.
With the logo, I'd prefer the all gold look with the current face masks....maybe teal facemasks.
Matte black would be fine. So would glossy.

I love the new logo. Don't mind the colors, just mind the caught in sex change nature of the colors. The helmet should be solid black or gold, not this crap it is now where the helmet doesn't know what it is.

I like this look, too.
I may be one of the few that actually likes the helmet, although it should be blended back a bit. With that said, I would much prefer a Matte black with gold face-guard.

They may be hideous helmets, but they're OUR hideous helmets...
Still hate the helmets. Wish they just would have made the entire helmet gold or black or pink or any color, really.
I liked the black with the teal pearl like in 2011. That with the new logo would look good. I dont like our unis either
I don't like the helm either. Same opinion everyone else has with the two tone design. Horrible.

Agree, although I do like the away and alternate. The home uniform is a disaster.
I actually love both the uni and the helmet. I do agree that they could blend the colors better and that a singular color would have sufficed.
Love the unis. I like the helmet but would be better with a smoother color transition.
The only issue that I have at all with the uniforms is the teal jerseys. They really need white numbers. I find them very hard to read during the games. The helmet is different. Hideous? Whatever.
They are the most disgraceful helmets in the history of helmets.. Nike is single-handedly destroying uniforms left and right and worse, owners are approving them. The only decent change has been the Seahawks since nike took over and maybe the vikes. It's not even that the overall concepts are terrible, I do like changes but it feels like they try too hard in the name of being "revolutionary" and the outcomes is a visual nightmare. I would change that helmet as soon as possible... we need to get rid of this awkward tan/gold/yellow color.. Even though the 2009 change wasnt very good, they had the right idea if removing the gold/tan.. maybe not entirely but it's a color that doesn't work
The more people complain about the helmets the more I like them. And I liked them to begin with really. It's always this argument that it's supposed to be a certain way. It's supposed to be a smooth gradient from black to gold. But why? Says who? That may be the one thing that sets the uniforms apart from other teams in the end.
Plus there are also problems that come with having a smoother gradient. Right now, from the front it looks like it's completely matte black, and from the back it looks shiney and gold. If it were a smoother gradient you wouldn't have two distinct colors like you do now, you'd have just a gradient with a bunch of shades. Has anybody seen an example of what that would look like. I don't think it would look as good as people think.
