Quote:My assumption would be that he attributes all of Gordon's success to Wisconsin's offensive line.
Not all. But a lot. Wisconsin recruits amazing O-Line men every year and the running backs that play behind those lines benefit greatly.
Quote:I can answer why I don't particularly like him. He didn't show great vision/decisiveness, he fumbled A LOT, I worry about his durability, he did very little in the passing game, and he showed almost nothing in the blocking game.
He's improved somewhat in the blocking game this year but I agree with the rest.
Quote:I would rather Cobb in the 4th than Ajayi in the 2nd
I like Cobb too but I tend to think he will be gone before the 4th
I think Gordon is high risk high reward. I was very impressed with his interview with the Jags. Seems like a stand up guy, very smart, and not cocky. If Gordon was there in the 2nd and Eric Kendricks Gurley was gone. He would probably be the guy I want

This. His interview blew me away. Good kid.

agree, I love the interviews( although Sexton sucks) you can tell their personality and it tells a lot about them imo. Gordon might of had the best interview, Parker is a man of few words, Beasley is very shy in front of a camera, and well Andrus Peat, lol
Quote:I think he'll be there in the third round, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's the pick in round three, though I wouldn't be too stoked about it. I think we've got more pressing needs along the lines, at linebacker and at safety. We've got a solid running back in Denard Robinson. Short of Gurley falling to the second round, we need too much help elsewhere to spend a high pick on a position that's, all things considered, in decent shape.
I like D-Rob as much as anybody, but lets be honest here, here is a converted QB and is injury prone, we need a legit RB to go with Blake and this offense, Toby and Pierce avg 3.0 last year, getting a young stud in a this draft would be huge
Due to the high number of teams needing a RB in this draft, I could see a run of multiple running backs(no pun intended) in the late 1st or 2nd round or even both. I think if we wait until the 3rd round to go RB, it will be too late.

I'm thinking Gurley and maybe Gordon will go in the back half of the first round. After that the run could start as early as pick #33 with Tennessee and Tampa both needing RBs, followed by the Jags, Jets, NYG, and possibly ATL.

See, I actually think that a 3rd RB may sneak into the 1st round. I'm thinking Gordon and Gurley are pretty much locks for the 1st. I think the Cardinals are almost a lock to go RB in round 1. I also wouldn't be surprised if 2 teams from Cowboys, Ravens, Chargers, Dolphins, Lions, Colts decided to go RB in round 1.

Either way I think we'll see the "big run" at the top of the 2nd.

Yup and if those teams dont pick on in round 1, they pick again in round 2, before around 3rd round pick, people want to wait to round 4 for a RB, we are gonna be left with garbage waiting that long.

Titans wont take a RB as they took Sankey in the 2nd lasr year but I do think Tampa will go QB in the 1st and RB in the 2nd. I dont think Oak. will take one in the 2nd either with the needs they have and the qay Murray looked last year. Tampa is the team that could steal our RB in the 2nd
The good thing though is there are a lot of good RB in this draft
We don't need any more hard core criminals on this team.
"Ajayi was <a class="" href='http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Redshirted' title="Redshirted">redshirted</a> as a true freshman at
Boise State University in 2011. In October 2011, he was arrested for stealing sweatpants from
Walmart and was later sentenced to five days in jail."

I think it takes 6 days in jail to be considered hard core. :teehee:
