If I was the Titans, I would take the Bears trade, as long as they threw in a couple extra picks (like a 2nd or 3rd, and a couple late rounders). I mean Cutler is an upgrade, but they are basically dumping him on you, so I look at him as no added value or low value. Rivers is actually good, but hes older, and I am not sure he has the arm strength to go for more than 3 or 4 years (although his game has never been about arm strength, so maybe he weathers that storm better than others). That said, I actually think the Rivers trade might be fair as is, or with a couple of 3rd day picks thrown in.
Rivers is a really good QB, and would make them at least competitive for the division in the weak sauce AFC South. I feel like the Titans D is actually okay if paired with an actual competent offense. Cutler would get them 2 more wins next year, but no where near the playoffs, so he isn't worth much. But since the bears are so desperate to move on, I bet they will give up quite a bit more to get rid of a competent starting QB (who is very overpaid), and Cutler would still be an upgrade for the tacks. So I take that trade with the above additions.
