I recently (within the last 5 years) replaced a bunch of Rooms To Go crap with a bunch of Haverty's crap.
I'll be child free before too much longer, and then I can have nice things.
Corner of Atlantic and Southside. They have beautiful stuff in there!!
Cool, thanks for the heads up. Will check it out next time I'm looking.
They're worth the trip. We've been very pleased with everything we've bought from them. I'll probably be making another purchase in the next year to get rid of the last of the RTG furniture we bought for our first house. They'll be our first stop.

I agree! With Ashley following right behind!!
You guys are incorrect. Rooms to Go is one of the greatest inventions of modern humanity.
Circle K off of West Beaver; this is the closest thing to buying in North Carolina.

It went out of business, didn't it? And the owner just got arrested for faking his death for the insurance money I think!!
This place
is on Beach Blvd near St.Johns Bluff and it used to be called "Oak Street." Different theme now, but same owners I think.
Have an oak BR set from them that I've had for 20 years. Still love it. Thinking about having it re-finished just for a change. It doesn't really need it, but a different shade of stain might be nice.

That's no way to talk about the "Official furniture store of the Jaguars".

The guy who bought it from the original owners was just arrested a couple of weeks ago along with his wife for fraud and identity theft. He did indeed fake his own death to get out of paying off debtors. The Circle K company shut down their stores months ago.
However, the family that originally owned the place opened a new furniture store a few years back. They're now called
Furniture and More. I haven't been out there since they reopened, but I'm going to assume they're selling the same quality furniture. We've got a sofa we bought from them 15 years ago, and the thing is rock solid and as durable as can be.

Ahh, that's good to know! They did have some good stuff in their store...makes you wonder why they ever sold in the first place.

I would imagine $$ had something to do with that.

Very true.

I bought some CD/DVD towers from Ikea when I lived in Germany back in 2001 and those things lasted through so many military and civilian moves it's not even funny. I LOVE Ikea.
