Starts shortly. We all know he's going first overall, but will he be a bust?
Let's see if I can post like you do.

Yes. He is bust. Next question.
Jameis --- I'm going to go with a comparison that he's a more refined version of Leftwich.

Both have high football IQs and great arms.  Leftwich failed to correct his lengthy release and hung in the pocket too long (and took a beating for it).

IMO, Mariota will be a huge bust.

<p class="" style="color:rgb(41,47,51);font-family:'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">Say what you want about Jameis Winston, but that dude can spin it. Throws a beautiful deep ball and can make every throw

Off the field issues shine the light on poor judgement calls on his part and show a lack of professionalism.  I understand college kids will be college kids, but the NFL will require you to be a grown up upon entering the league and especially so at the quarterback position.  I wouldn't say I've seen anything that indicates he's grown up in the last year, only he and those closest to him know what motivates him.  I would lean towards him busting more than him turning into a top 15 QB in the league at this point.

If I were the Tampa GM I wouldn't be happy about being in a situation where you are forced to take a QB high like they are, but they have to take a QB right?  Trading out of the number one overall pick, which I'm sure they'd like to do, just doesn't happen historically and if Lovie doesn't get a QB now, but gets one in the next year or so he might not have time to develop him anyway.  If I'm projecting into the future, Lovie is out of a job again in 2 years and a new regime will be looking for a new QB to draft in Tampa.

Underthrows, overthrows, imbalance, telegraphed release, frustration, and too much complexity. I thought these Pro Days were scripted

I did see some Leftwich in him last season. Aside from a few flawless performances his freshman year, he tends to look sloppy.

I think he gets flustered too easily under pressure.
"I need to improve upon movement in the pocket. I already have charisma. I'm already the guy everyone wants to be around. Let's not add sugar to sugar."  This was his answer to what he needs to improve upon. I see a lot of RGIII with him.

He played in a pro style offense in FSU. His game will translate to the NFL. He's been compared to Andrew Luck in how NFL ready he is. I think the worst he will be is an average QB. He can make every NFL throw.
The "Jameis looks fat" chatter has started up again.

Is everyone expecting him to look like this?

I don't think its that big of a deal, albeit a few sit-ups surely wouldn't hurt his cause. Here are the pics:

This is stretch to find something to criticize him about.
