Straight forward topic with a straight forward answer. It doesn't take a lot of work for any of us to blurt out who we hate, despise, etc, etc, etc,,,,

So Let's go the other way and point out who the best are, and it would be nice to take the time to explain why you chose the people you did.

I wonder if attitudes toward others might change throughout the course of a thread.  I know that I have softened on another poster or two that I wasn't terribly good to as of late. I hope I find the time to give them their due apology.

So, with that said, my top 5 posters would be as follows:

#1 D6. Yes, the guy is a fan of an opponent, but he had the magic to make it unimportant to the home crowd here. He did such a good job of it, he was embraced by this entire community and has been the graceful ambassador that we find ourselves unable to hate, despite his team affiliation.

#2 Sammy AKD "Colts" Another phenomenal contributor. He has been scarce as of late, but sometimes real life calls us and we must rise to those challenges.  Sammy has always been a funny guy, but what made him stick out was the humility as well. He wanted to be a part of the gang, make sure everyone was ok, and keep the good times rolling. Sammy has donated prizes and in the past, winners of message board contests got nice prizes, and wondered where they came from. The came from a friend who wanted to remain anonymous. He isn't around nearly as much, and I suspect it is due to a health issue, but he would have to confirm it. Either way, Sammy is my #2 guy and I wish him all the best, wherever he may be.

#3 This is a tough one. I lost my chance to learn the ropes of moderating a site and admining, The guy who could deal with the trolling and the negativity was FArgin. He lived to be the gatekeeper of this message board and would smack down any 0pposing trolls, but in a non-confrontational way. He was a pro at it. I also know FBT hasn't been the same since Fargin hasn't been out to the practices. He and FBT did a lot of work together and produced some of the best camping reports of the history of this franchise. But alas, we lost Fargin to a coronary issue a couple years back, and this place hasnt been the same. He ha the respect of not only the locals, but the trolls. He did a great job of handling it.

The only thing I can say is that I met you enough times to count on one hand. You weren't sure about me, but you personally took care of getting me into a game an asked for nothing in return.  Your stock has risen. Stay after it, and come back with something to prove. Not to anyone else but yourself.

The world will freeze over with this selection penned by me, but Bullseye. I will not back of the fact that the penny horse rider scene should have never been removed. That should warrant torture and execution on it's own merit. But I digress. Bullseye puts a lot of time and work into what he wants to discuss. He doesn't regurgitate the same stories on the wire and run with them. He puts time, research, and THOUGHT

#4 - The one that will cause a stir. Love him or hate him, FBT is a top notch Moderator of this site. He showed me the ropes when I came on. He, along with HB1148 pulled for me to come aboard.FBT takes the most slack. Takes the most complaints, hands down. Yet, he is always here. Perhaps people should start asking themselves questions. Those questions should be why doesn't he get in trouble. The simple reason is that he has found a way to robustly debate anyone here and yet stay within the bounds of the rules. If more of us could do that, imagine the problems of the country and how quickly they would go away.

My last, but not least are my arkie buddies. Real Deal, Jonesey, JON, I hope you all are dong well. I still think of each and everyone of you regularly. It will be good to see you again.

Thanks, Dakota!

Words can't begin to describe what your thoughts mean to me.   I have been praying for you every day and plan on continuing to do so.   You are a tremendous inspiration for me and I'm sure countless others.

Everyone else you mentioned in this thread and of course yourself are people that I have great respect and admiration for.   While Fargin is no longer here in the physical sense,  his impact remains with countless people who knew him from the MB and/ or in person.

Thanks David! I am glad you appreciate the thoughts. You earned those though. I have called you friend for a long time. We both have alot happening in our lives, so soon we will get into gear and make all that happen. We will be conspicuously absent, Maybe we get lucky, and our absences will coencide. .....Preferably by some nice fishing grounds.
I like me
I would have said you Dakota until you didnt mention me in yours.

I like to read D6's comments the most.  He seems the most rationale person here.  Sammy as well...its so hard to like a colt fan.

It's always fun to have a back and forth with Big John as well....I love his homerism.

That's very "American" of you, I'd assume Euro's have no need for privacy?
I would think there are several people that have to look up to me.

I'm 6'5".
