Quote:I have the terminology wrong then. I thought any hat with that big obnoxious bill that you can't bend was called a snap back.

That is the only one I have seen. They made last year's hat in the "FLEX" version, which is a little better.

Quote:Flat bills.

As a long-time New Era fan, I hate them as well, but back in the day before they were bowed by the factory, that's the way they came, and the owner would "train" the bill to the curvature they preferred.
These big billed hats can't be curved. I bought one 3 or so years ago and I can't wear the thing. I don't remember these oversized bills much at all except the last 3-5 years or so. Every other hat I've ever bought has been the "normal" type bill. I've got well over 100!

I'm a big flex fit fan. I wasn't keen on the design of last years hat though. I'd love to get a flex fit of this years design though
I'm not big on the flat bill either. But I'm not the target demo. My son loves the flat bills though and so do his friends. It's a generation thing.

I prefer the "franchise" hats.

Yea, you're absolutely right. I get it, just don't have to like it :woot:
