Twisted Sister / Adrenaline Mob Drummer A.J. Pero Dies at 55

We are devastated to report that Twisted Sister / Adrenaline Mob drummer A.J. Pero has died at the age of 55. As of this posting, no cause of death has been revealed.

While Twisted Sister have performed with many drummers throughout the band’s 43-year career, A.J. Pero was easily the band’s most celebrated man behind the kit. Pero had many stints with Twisted Sister, the longest being his latest run of 12 straight years (2003 – 2015) with the heavy metal legends.

Come to think of it, could have been 30+ years ago.. Gettin old is awesome. I'm gonna embrace my senility..
I saw them here in Jax around the same time...30 years ago. Yikes.

RIP.

Yeah, it was about 31 years ago. It was during their Stay Hungry Tour in 1984. Queensryche was the opening act.

UPDATE!

The band said Anthony Jude Pero died of an apparent heart attack while touring with Adrenaline Mob, a group with which he played in between engagements with Twisted Sister.
