Quote:Poz just got a one year extension. Just when Dempsey said (today, technically yesterday) that he was certain Poz wont be with The Jags after this season. (My bad. didn't feel like starting a new thread. Figured I'd piggy-back off Lamping)

Given the timing of the 2 extensions, can we assume Lamping wouldn't sign the 5-year extension unless we extended Poz's contract.  :woot:
I like it!

Quote:He's doing awesome. The 5 year deal means he'll be here for the completion of the shipyards
I think this is a fair statement. He was head of the construction of Met Life stadium and would probably be pegged to oversee the overall construction of the Shipyard project here.
Quote:One huge difference between Khan and the previous regime has been the people hired. WW hired on the cheap and did not even have a role like Lamping's. He basically did that job himself and you saw the state of the club when he left. Lamping had a great resume when he got here and has been terrific.

Khan just seems to have far more ambition in general. Refuses to accept any sort of ceiling or preconceived notions about the city of Jacksonville that I have no doubt Weaver and the previous regime had. It was almost as if they had overcome so much to just get a team to Jacksonville (and believe me, I know that they did overcome a ton) that they were simply content with having one here. Khan came in with renewed vigor and ambition and was exactly what the franchise and city needed.
It gives Lamping enough time to bring the Fulham Soccer team to Jax (permanently) !!

I, for one, am extremely angered by this.

More to come after I figure out why.

Agree 100%. Khan quite frankly doesn't give a you know what. The fans here had an inferiority complex when WW was the owner. With Khan, it is more of a "why not us?" attitude.
