They "will likely charge the party organizers with homicide"? That sounds incredibly dumb. It's amazing not one of them seemed to understand they were competing to see who can kill themselves first. A quick google search would tell you that drinking that much alcohol in that amount of time will kill you.
“I never thought that would become reality. But once he had finished he said he felt ill and suddenly collapsed. We assumed it was because he was drunk but then six others also collapsed, including the winner, so we called an ambulance.”
So he didn't even win!? How many shots did the winner take?
I took 24 jager bombs (1 shot jager and 4 oz redbull) in 43 minutes and lived to tell the tale, but let me tell you, I won't do that again.
How can anyone even hold that amount of liquor down long enough to get it into your system?
you think it would be rude of me to befriend the dead dudes chick on FB?

^This.. You'd figure the human body would reject it.
When I was a kid and just turned 21, I drunk 3 bottles of Parrot Bay by myself at a party one night and smoked a blunt and had projectile vomit for like 3 days.. Alcohol poison at it's finest..

That combo in that amount is very dangerous. Youre crazy man lol but kudos nonetheless.

Liquor is a depressant. It depressed his body's defense mechanisms before they could try to help by expelling the liquor... Too much alcohol too quickly for the body to properly do its job...
