Who should we pick? Personally Id go Leonard Fournette.

Most realistic scenario is Garrett and Alenn are gone at this point in process. Many ways to go.

I wouldn't say that's the most realistic scenario. I would bet money one of those 2 teams take a QB

you got 2 going in top 3?
49ers won't pick Allen, Bears will pick a QB.

The Bears will pick Allen and take a QB with their 2nd rounder.

Nah. Fox is on the hot seat, drafting a QB  gives him another year or two. All the QBs outside the top 4 are trash.
Select, derek rivers

Word on the street is the Bears are trying hard to trade for garappolo
Been preaching it for months.. Trade down and draft Cook..

I believe this is a strong possibility unless Cyp signs elsewhere and the Jags take Adams

Yep browns too. If they don't get Jimmy G they'll go for a QB in the draft.
It's all in on BB5 this year so Fournette to help him out.

Take the less talented guy, at a less important position, which has a shorter career span, an even shorter peak length, and misses more games due to injuries...all so we can hopefully save face and salvage the other guy who was also the wrong pick. I lost count of how many things were wrong with that line of thinking.

Unfortunately, I can see the regime thinking exactly that same way =/

I dont think anybody can argue Fournette isnt extremely talented. Athletically hes best in the draft outside of maybe Garrett. 230 lbs and prob will run 4.3-4.4 range. If Bortles is the guy, we need a run game bc he cant succeed throwing 50 times a game. While it is a somewhat deep rb class, Fournette and Cook, maybe Mixon are far and away the most talented. If at best he is AP how can you turn that down. Hes ever bit as athletically talented as AP, may not have the vision but all else you stated above applies. Injury concerns, less important position, etc. He may be best to come out sense AP. We havent drafted a 1st rd rb in 20 years and the one time we did he was a hof talent and won us a lot of games. RB is a very important position in football.
I'm surprised only 3 people (one being myself) selected Adams. The guy is a beast and will solidify our defense.

So many votes for Fournette, I prefer cook over him any day.

He's fast, but I don't think he is very explosive. He just doesn't have that proverbial explode out of a cannon when he gets the handoff. As I said in a different thread, that's probably why LSU had him run an absurd amount of tosses (30% vs 7% national average of handoffs). He needs that extra room to get momentum that I'm not sure he will be afforded in the NFL. I'd bet his jumps wind up being pretty average at the combine. Honestly I think the players he comps the closest to are Ivory and Jeremy Hill, not Peterson.

I'm not saying he won't be good, but not worth the #4 pick. Especially since he will already be entering the league with a chronic ankle injury that will likely need surgery. Also especially since it is an extremely deep, talented, and diverse RB class. I just can't think of a single, cogent argument to be made for a running back over any of Adams/Hooker/Allen/Thomas.

Fournette is falling victim to over analysis much like teddy Bridgewater did.

The ironic part is that KY stayed on the teddy train because the new wave scouts said to.

They're saying the opposite with fournette.....And with how high teddy went....I could see how KY could be right here....haha

Wrong. Watch 4 go in the first round for the first time since 2011.
