Jaguars article about our spending

I liked some of it but some of the other commetns he made about Gratz competing with House shows he doesn't REALLy know our depth chart but nice to see us not completely hated on for once.

I hope House does compete with Gratz.
I'd much rather Colvin and McCray be our starters.
Gratz could also compete for time with Sergio at FS

Thanks for the link. Excellent article. Clear and dispassionate, with no snide or belittling slant. Good stuff.
"Everything that we're doing right now and throughout the draft will revolve around helping Blake"
Music to my ears.... Err eyes I guess.
While the article makes some points, his belief that 6-10 is the high win total for this team seems pessimistic. I can see the team getting to .500 just with the moves made so far an reasonable growth of rookies.

See I read that too and that makes me really think that the Cooper visit with Jags is maybe not just a trade bait ploy but a real possibility for the Slot WR that Dave was looking for
Very good article. I don't think he said they would go 6-10, but instead was implying that by going at least 6-10 would attract high caliber players; he referred to Cobb & McCourty specifically, but also implied other players of the same high-value. I tend to agree with him. The Jags are making the right strides with their personnel decisions...now, it just needs to show up in the win column. Again, great article and thanks for the link!
Future. Bright. Win. Yes.
I think his take on the Free Agency period syncs up with mine; it's not that the team built a foundation with these signings, but they are structured in such a way so as to not hinder that construction. Did they overpay? Probably, but that's kind of okay seeing as how the only effect is in the short term and not on the long term Cap Health.
