He'll ride his contract out here and retire next year , thanks for coming out.
Quote:He went to a Pro Bowl and has legit film out there. He is superman as far as the Browns are concerned.

Lol this is so true
I'll take a 6'7" pro bowl TE, line him up in the redzone and couple him with a, oh let's say, a 6'6" pro bowl TE and line him up in the redzone. Line them both up in the redzone. Bortles back to pass.. TD Blackmon!

Please! Please! Please! Please!

I dont see any team giving that up for a receiving TE that cant catch, and is paid as one of the highest TEs in the NFL... they'll have to cut him...
Julias Pair him with our $8M TE who can't catch but blocks and whaddya know, we got a TE.
Watch him get traded to a team with A QB and have off the chart stats.
Wes Saxton might be a good receiving TE draft selection in the 5th round.

A better QB isn't going to make those hands of stone suddenly turn to mattresses.
Quote:That would be a nice destination for him.

I still chuckle at the urgency some have to get rid of him.  So much energy wasted towards a player.  If he's traded, nice.  If he stays, no big deal.  If he's cut, oh well... nothing to lose any sleep over no matter what happens.
Exactly.  Right now he serves a purpose.  He's eating up cap dollars that this team needs to spend.  If they can find a suitable method to trade him that benefits the team, that's great.  If they can't, it's not a loss for the team.

Wow. i agree again.
He just needs the right coaching and good QB like Matt Ryan.
Nine years in the league and he needs 'coaching'? Wow........

I was going to respond to that but I just took that "L". smh

I remember trying to use that argument back for Garrard.

I see how silly it was... at some point... you're all coached up lol

This man has been around for a while and you say he needs coaching? All a poor pass catching TE will do for any QB is make that QB look bad. Now this isn't to say that the man is without merit; he is hilarious to watch when on occasion he does catch the ball. It's like watching a new born giraffe or something!
:woot:  His long TD catch which caused his injury was probably his career's best play last season.

Thought the same when I saw it.....Then I heard of the injury and thought.....of course he's injured

For drops, or for missed chip blocks?
