I think the Jaguars will target an athletic Mike linebacker in round 2
People are still talking Poz up as being a Pro Bowler is idiotic. If that's the case we should target our other Pro Bowler Lewis even more this year since he's been to Hawaii too. Both of them are slow and washed. Throw them to the scrap heap right along with Red Bryant. We lose JT Thomas but still overpay a slow has been middle linebacker.
Poz is just an average MLB he will be like Red Bryant, one more year them he will be gone. If we draft a Perryman or Miss St guy then he can help them along

They will mix this up obviously depending on the defensive set. Expect Poz to come out sometimes when they nickel and dime.
skuta isn't great in coverage but he is a step up from poz and he has some experience at middle linebacker so that might be an idea
1st and second you play that 3 with Colvin (who I think will beat out mccray and gratz in camp) and house outside
nickel packages you move Colvin to the nickel bring poz out and mccray in outside ship skuta to mike which still gives the potential of a 5 man rush
bring cyp down to help against the run with brown if he is more than a special teamer across the top

Kendricks would be ace in the 2nd but some are projecting him mid first now.
I like Poz. Glad he's on the team. But man, this team is thin on LBs. Only one player who fits into the OTTO or LEO role and we just signed him. At least two will be drafted. But I don't think the rebuilding of the position will be complete until after the 2016 draft.
If Fowler is the pick at 3, there's a great chance he starts at OTTO unless we pick up someone else in free agency.
If they can get a MLB later in the draft with some speed, that's Poz'z replacement in 2016.

Hmm poz aint the same pro-bowl caliber player he once was.. If you go back and look at some jags game he was some of the reason some of those long runs were given up due to his over pursuit and bad run angles.
