Full Version: Draft Sleeper: Jacoby Glenn (CB) UCF

Jacoby Glenn's draft stock is very low at the moment because of a less than stellar combine.  He also played for a non Power 5 school in UCF so he has somewhat flew under the radar as of now.

Before the combine he was projected to be a 2nd round pick, but now he may be available in the 3-4 range if not later.

I've watched him for 3 years now at UCF and I can tell you that he could be a major steal.  Forget the 40 time, he is fast when it matters (games)

Most people have no clue, but Jacoby Glenn was a first team All-American for UCF last year and has held his own against draft hopefuls/picks such as Devante Parker, Antwan Goodley, Justin Hardy, and even Allen Robinson.

He's DEFINITELY worth a shot in the 3rd or 4th round...especially since cornerback is still an area we can improve in.

Thoughts?  Does anyone else have insight about him?

Also some guys that could also be late round steals from UCF.  Not that I'm trying to be biased..I just believe UCF players are underrated because of the conference they play in.

Rannell Hall (WR) 6-7 round

Clayton Geathers (S) 5-6 round

JJ Worton (WR) 7-UDFA (projects well as a slot receiver)
At this point if we are drafting a CB I'm guessing it won't be until the 6th or 7th rounds. We currently have:

McCray

House

Colvin

Gratz

Harris

Reynolds

And about 3 other guys who we picked up during the season.
the guy is only a redshirt soph too.  Not sure if that means he has lots of room to grow.  Or if maybe other teams havent been able to figure out and take advantage of his weaknesses yet.  or maybe both.

if nothing else the guy was productive.

Jacoby Glenn was fantastic last year. UCF defense clearly suffered when he was off the field. I think with some more tape against more elite receivers he'd be a lock for the first round.
Couple more tidbits on UCF WRs:

I think Perriman is being overhyped and I think there is a place in the NFL for JJ Worton as a WR4. Worton has fantastic hands and instincts. He's not a burner but he'll move the chains.

I like Worton, love the way he can track the ball. I think Matt Miller from Boise State is another guy that could be used in a similar role.
