Quote:I also seem to remember Caldwell indicating he hasn't spent as much money as he planned.

Does this mean another big signing, whether Murray or Hardy?
There will probably be more signings. Big signings? Not so sure.
Quote:If his plan was Thomas, Cobb, McCourty, Parnell, and Odrick .... he expected to spend a lot more money than he did.

True, however with those big names off the market there's not going to be anyone that warrants that kind of money.
Hardy might warrant it.

You might need to have behavioral clauses in it, but he is a young good pass rusher.

Maybe. With the nfl cracking down on things I don't know any team is willing to give more than a two year deal with clauses and no guaranteed money.
Skuta's best year was last year with 5 sacks in limited playing time. With the Jaguars luck he will probably just be an average Joe but he could be a player on the rise.

if thats the case you can wait for his price to come down a bit

let his agent hear nothing but the birds then swoop in as his expectations lower

just watched all the pressers. Oldrick was my favourite seemed to be the most genuinely happy to be there and you could tell he would fit in with marks and that group. Sounds like he is going to be part of the rotation throughout this year then probably 5 tech if bryant gets cut next year.

I liked parnell too (though dallas would keep him over free with his youthful upside), guy is a big man and hope he can develop,

caldwell's was the most interesting and it just seems like he is really up for trading out of that number 3 pick. Almost there on offense which from what he was saying to me means

slot receiver...

running back

full back depth at guard (which can be found in the late rounds)

Somehow I'm smelling a trade down with the jets in the first to grab fowler or rey for the leo spot plus their secound rounder then trading back up using our third to the tail end of the first to grab gurley.

I think that's exactly what teams are doing. His value is down and teams are going to wait until the price gets low enough where there's very little risk for a potential stud pass rusher.
Hardy will get picked up before you think and I for one am willing to the roll the dice with a moderate level contract.
