he is a good player. some of those cuts it almost looks like he is gliding. smooth runner. biggest concern will be can he stay healthy.
I'm sorry, but he just looks slow to me. Reminds me of a tick slower James "Little Man" Stewart even.
Where are you listening to LT at? There is a baseball game on 1010
He's very elusive though. Has good feet and seems gets the most out his runs. He seems to find gaps instinctively.
I like the pick.

Watching on NFL network. They thought he might go at the bottom of the first. Apparently a lot of interest in him

He's running in the SEC. I thought he was slow as well when looking at his 40 time but his "game speed" is top notch.
Pretty sure they were looking for a back that could catch the ball out of the backfield AND pass protect.
Sure there were better "runners"... But they must rate Yeldon higher all around.
Bortles needs backs that can block and catch.
Quote:Lol, this was a good take. Can't believe Yeldon has supposedly risen this high. Would be happy with him in the 3rd...I'll be real disappointed if he's the pick at 36 honestly. Would be laughable to me if he goes before Diggy, Rowe, Kendricks, DGB, Lockett, Fisher, Clemmings, Gregory etc...
Well..

Went a lot higher than I predicted. Kinda got lost in the shuffle having a bit of a down year. I love the player, not thrilled with where we got him, but if he stays healthy and produces then who cares?
Really smooth runner and I think he can provide us with some more consistent playmaking ability that we were lacking.
Quote:Well..
Without looking, he went ahead of all of them didn't he? Hahaha
I really like this pick. I understand the frustration, but i really think this was one of the best RB in the draft. He is our compliment to Denard. But what separates him from others is he can be a 3 down back who can catch, run outside and block.

Running backs aren't leaned on quite like they used to be but he can and will do it all for us. If he remains durable, this guy will be the playmaker Blake needs.
This pick is a huge boom or bust scenario.
