I don't remember that.

If you factor in Revis' value on Special Teams, I think his value could be equivalent to McCray & House.

I don't want the Clots to get him either.
Vonte Davis played lights out last post season. At times, he looked like the best CB in the postseason.
A secondary with Davis and Revis at the corners...ugh.

People think a smart women is stupid? So with that logic people think a stupid men are smart?
Ok. Got it. Learn something new every day.

Darrelle Revis may never have another opportunity at a multi-year contract big payday. If the Patriots want him back, Revis should force them to pay market value rate. Revis has tremendous leverage. Especially since the Jets will have major interest in him and possibly the Rex Ryan led Bills. I'm of the opinion Revis can command at least $ 15 million and $ 40 million in guarantees if he and his agent play this right.

In the end he'll slink off back to the Pats like they all do when given the opportunity.

If this happens, I hope it's not at a discount rate. Darrelle Revis already has a Super Bowl ring. No one can ever take that away from him. This is part of his leverage. He's been around long enough to realize that the time will come in the next few years that he won't have significant market value. Now is the time for Revis to force the action.

Personally, I think Revis has very LITTLE leverage when it comes to $$.
The only what Revis can fit into the cap (with his market value of $15m) is to sign a long term contact which isn't going to happen.
The Pats don't have room for a 1-2 year Revis Contract @ $15-$20m per year. They chose McCourty over Revis.

If he'd take less money, something like 4 years/$48 mil, I'd take him in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, I doubt he'd come that cheap.

Looks like the Browns are interested.

An NFL Network analyst just said that Revis wouldn't consider Jacksonville because it would be like going into "exile" - no winning and essentially a boring area. The only thing that will stop this unprofessional, bandwagon-piling on reporting is to WIN....hopefully, we're getting close. Revis is great, but using those kind of financial numbers to get him just isn't prudent. If we were a Super Bowl contender then it would make more sense.
