I agree but I want him to at least be ok or half way decent at it.
If true, do we proclaim the TE position done? What I mean is Thomas does have an injury history and his backup at this point is no longer a receiving threat.

I'm surprised they haven't asked him to rework his contract (at least I've heard nothing). It isn't even about cap space. No blocking TE is worth that much.
They're gonna keep Marcedes and try to make it a duo for this season I guess. I'm sure the contract is gonna be insane, given we already pay 8 mil a year for average production. Gotta spend it somehow I guess.
If we can't score in the red zone with those 2 guys at TE then it's just not meant to be.

Only if Marcedes Lewis accepts a huge discount and Greg Olson rarely tells Blake Bortles to throw to him would I like that. He is only good as a blocker.

Absolutely not. We still need to draft one who is good at both blocking and catching.

Id still draft Maxx williams even if we signed JT
This is great for the Jags. People are saying they will target Thomas but with the return of Blackmon they cant. And if they do Blackmon will make teams pay.
