I'm kind of shocked McCoy was traded, he's still one of the best RB's in the league? I wouldn't call this a win just yet for Philly, not if Kiko isn't healthy and contributing next season.

Its a good trade for both teams, Bills get a good RB and Eagles get a good LB

For some reason that part of it was largely unreported and forgotten. Everybody seemed to just talk about the player swap.

The Broncos received a 2nd Round pick as part of that trade.

Even in what was an off year by LeSean McCoy's standards, he had over 1300 yards rushing and a 4.2 rushing average. The Eagles dealt with multiple Offensive Line injuries and in the case of RT Lane Johnson, a 4 game suspension at the start of the regular season. Not to mention, their QB situation was far from the best in the league last season. If we took a consensus survey, my guess would be McCoy would still be listed as one of the top 5 NFL all around RB's.

There are a number of teams that are in need of a RB. He won't be out of work for long. That also goes for Murray and the others.
Indy, Tampa, ATL, ARZ, DET, NYJ, and now Philly just to name a few.
My money is on Kiko Alonso contributing at a high level for Philadelphia for a much longer time than McCoy will be for Buffalo. Because of that reason, winner Eagles.

The Jets seem like the most likely destination for C.J. Spiller. The combination of need, salary cap flexibility, and the Chan Gailey connection all are major factors in making the Jets the favorites on paper to land Spiller.
After being shocked and then having time to think about this trade... I'm okay with this trade because we are essentially trading a top 15 LBer for a top 5 RB who is a 3x Pro Bowler. Kiko had an excellent rookie season for us, but he was a liability against the run. He's on the small side and has trouble shedding blocks. His injury is also concerning.
Is it me, but is anybody thinking that we could have traded the 3rd pick for McCoy and philly's 1st round pick? It would benefit us alot more. What does Buffalo need with ANOTHER RB?
Is Kelly trying to create Oregon East?
