Maybe he meant, Orakpo at the Otto LB position.

Quote:Hughes? I'd say LEO hands down. The OTTO needs to be able to cover. I really wouldn't want Hughes dropping back.
Not Hughes at OTTO. Orakpo.

You're right. Though I don't think it changes the conversation much. I'm not sure Orakpo is suited for OTTO either. I think guys like Brooks Reed would be more what we're looking for as OTTO.

Yeah, he would lost around 5 million a year or less, not more. I believe someone like Atlanta might pay him more. But he does fit in our scheme.

I suggested this in another thread. He also should come cheaper IMO.

The cumulative post-injuries production on Orakpo is worrisome to me. Unfortunately, he seems to have a chronic torn pectoral muscle condition, as it has now happened to him 3 times. And, last season, a shortened one with only 7 games, he registered 0.5 sacks. Given the Skins tagged him last year, he is essence was playing those 7 games in a contract year. If Caldwell can sign him to a minimal risk deal, OK. But, his injuries would scare me off if it is a bidding war with the Skins or Falcons.
