This is alfies LEO benchmark table for guys from the combine. Only Eli Harold checked all the boxes.

This also increases my hope for Anthony Chickillo in the 4th. He was out of place at miami playing 5 tech, I think he could be pretty good
Mods if this is out of place and belongs in the college football section I apologize, feel free to move it. I wasn't sure where it should go.

And Preston Smith.
Harold seems like more of an OTTO to me, but could be a LEO I suppose. He ought to be there in the second round for the Jags. Interesting prospect.
Smith might be there in the third. (this is probably a college forum thread BTW)
Gimme Vic Beasley at Otto, por favor.
Do you know if he has an OTTO one?

Where do the standard values come from? like the 34 inch arms, etc...

Venus de Milo
Before I read it, I see his name is Alphie, then I don't read it at all.
So did he just pull this out of thin air or is there some actual basis for it?
Chickillo was a beast at the East/West Shrine game.
Shane Ray probably bests all these numbers if he was able to do the drills.
Note that Vic Beasley is EASILY the best across the board on this chart. I'm liking this guy the more I hear about him. The only red spot on Beasley is that his arm length is 32 1/2" whereas it would be green at 33". Beasley also did 35 reps on the bench press, and his 44" vert suggests power. This is an incredibly fast and strong guy reminding me of when I first noticed JJ Watt.
^ I would love to have our very own JJ Watt thats for sure.

He'll reach the explosiveness benchmarks, but I think he'll struggle with the agility/cod skills. That's what downgrades Ray in my book. His burst off the snap and explosion is eye popping. But he doesn't turn the corner well, and gets engulfed too easily by blocks (which likely will happen more often in the NFL with the talent there).
Gregory's "potential" as a wide 9 is enormous. He has length, agility, explosiveness, and he can turn. He also probably has the highest bust potential of the three.
Fowler fits between Ray and Gregory as far as floor/ceiling.
It's funny, because Beasley was a "hot" name at the end of last season. He's kind of the forgotten man throughout the season, but his combine numbers are putting him back in discussion.
Beasley developed a lot last year. My knock on him in 2013 was that he was just a speed rusher with little technique, but in 2014 he was much improved.
I sure wish I knew what this excel chart was all about.
The best circumstance would be if the Jags could sign a DE-Leo, like Jason Pierre Paul or Jerry Hughes and then if Leonard Williams is not available and the Jags don't trade down then take Dante Fowler to play the Otto LB position. The Otto LB must be able to set the edge as well as cover TEs and rush the passer. Having Fowler rushing from the left and Hughes rushing from the right meeting in the middle at the QB.

Hughes is overrated
im starting to hope that we get that MM trade and shane ray drops. that injury at the combine and now no one is talking about the guy.
pick up ray and mckinney and our defense will get a huge boost and a bit of a mean streak.
