Could return to form, finding and picking holes to blast through behind a much improved zbs oline. Lemme get Spiller too.
David Johnson
Denard Robinson
Jordan Todman
Reggie Bush and C.J.Spiller.....
...and Toby from the 1
Too much?

If you are able to live with Reggie Bush very likely missing a number of games, being limited in some other games, and having a roster spot instead of a developmental player, only then would a team even possibly consider him at a highly favorable contract for the organization.
I can live with him missing a low number of games, like 2 with a minor injury, but would hope he can pull himself up by the bootstraps and grind to prove he still has some juice left. Specifically as a safety valve for Blake, catching passes outta the backfield and turning up some explosive plays

The explosive 86 yard TD run in the 3rd pre-season game against the Jaguars was by far Reggie Bush's most explosive play all year. In the regular season, he had around a 27 yard TD run in the 4th QTR against the Packers that was huge in what turned out to be a Lions win. Bush also had an impressive TD run in the playoff loss to the Cowboys. But overall, the impact runs were much less than in most of Bush's past. He's going to turn 30 very soon. While on occasion he might display some juice and he probably can still contribute as a receiver, IMO the Jaguars probably can maximize the roster space in more effective and efficient ways.

I believe Reggie's days are coming to a close.........Now he will go to the Patriots and win 2 SB's just because I said that.

It wouldn't even surprise me if Reggie Bush isn't on an NFL opening day roster in 2015. Especially since if he's on an opening day roster, his salary is guaranteed for the entire season.
At some point in 2015, I can picture Bush ending up with a contending team. Especially, if they have a need because of an injury. But I have serious doubt that by the time the Super Bowl arrived, Bush will be relatively healthy enough to make a winning contribution. When it comes to durability at the RB position, Bush is the antithesis of what Walter Payton and Barry Sanders were.
That preseason run tricked me into nabbing him in fantasy.. Big mistake on my part. Good thing I started D-Rob with a gut feeling that 1st week he broke out. I had a squad though and won that $500 with an 11-2 record that got me an extra $100 for best record, and did nothing but shuffle RB's all season. Earned me the nickname "GM of the Year" at work... Anywho!
It would surpise me greatly if Bush is not on a team at the start of the season.

Good job in overcoming the Reggie Bush FF selection.
I think there's a better chance Reggie Bush is on a week # 2 roster than a week # 1 roster. The same with MJD.
I'll be surprised if Bush or MJD is on an NFL regular season or post season roster for the 2016 season at any point. In 2015, I'll be surprised if either RB is on an NFL roster the entire 16 games of the regular season..
Well here is the let's sign Reggie Bush thread who's next to be released

Much appreciated. Yeah, ya know, I sorta feel bad for MJD. He's so much pride but his body just won't respond to what he wants to do anymore, no matter how hard he tries. Bush, pushing 30 as well, I feel still has more to offer a team. More than, say a, Chris Johnson,Shonn Green, Donald Brown, Dexter McCluster, (and MJD) I could keep going. Just my opinion

I get it, but seriously. There is going to be alot of talent being let go this year. Alot of room to improve on our roster. There will be some unfortunate turnover. Some fan favorites, but it will be necessary to get to that next level. Getting Bush may not be realistic or even feasible ( or is it) but we should brace ourselves for some heartbreaking cuts

Unfortunately as we have seen countless times, effort is often not enough to recapture the success of the past. This is true with all positions in the NFL but it seems to happen earlier with RBs.
Of the RB's you listed, a case can be made that Reggie Bush can offer more at this point of his career than the others can when he's relatively enough. It's not saying much. Yet, it still gets back to the durability factor. Bush is at or near the bottom of the totem pole in that very important category.
Why does so much of this forum want to sign over-the-hill players who won't help us in 2016 and probably won't even be of much use in 2015? Give me the 26 and 27-year-olds with most of their career ahead of them. Even if they aren't as established or as big of names as the guys being cut, they'll be around in a few years when the guys hitting the market now are mothballed.
